    Misprinted team name
I placed a wager on Italian Lega A GMAC Bologna to win. The bet lost.
Later I discovered the team in my betslip I bet against is "C.B. Granada", a Spanish team. So it's an obvious misprinting. Just because there was just 1 game in Lega A I did not pay attention to that fact.
I am quite sure if I won Globetsport would void my bet. Shall I ask them to void it now? Of cause, the bet is lost, but I do not like the book decides if to void or not the bet which has to be void depending on the outcome.

Were the odds correct when you knew what you were wagering on sir? I've seen books cancel wagers before with the first initial being wrong, so I can see your point sir. If you want to you are always more than welcome to fill out a complaint form and one of us will inquire on your behalf.

To be fair, my bet is lost. But the bookies are not always fair with us. Then, it was lost or void bet, do not see them to keep the bet if I win. The problem is that they state in their terms if "system error" occurs, they MAY cancel the bet. So they may not. Depends on what is more profitable of cause.
I already wrote an e-mail, but their support is awful and some days may pass till they answer if they will.

I'm not going to sit here and say your wrong about them canceling your wager at all, because their SBR Rating would probably support your stance on this subject. For example: I remember the Sportsbook.com family of books canceled players wagers because they made a mistake and posted the wrong initial on a MLB pitching matchup even though it was clear that their was only one Weaver brother on the Angles roster.

Globetsport refunded the stakes. Did not answer to e-mail, but in online chat it was a matter of 2 minutes. I am a lucky man

Good eye Yasenpen. Generally it falls on the player to scrutinize the ticket before the game is decided. We just received a complaint from a player who had his winning bet canceled by bwin because the date was listed as 11/1/08 instead of 1/11. They credited him for a bonus equal to a win but I'm sure other players lost out. So, if you are a bwin player who has a losing bet with a misspelled pitcher name or error in gametime, you should ask for your money.

If you lose a bet that you meant to bet, take your loss like a man.

Don't look for a reason to get out of it.

Its players that do this kind of crap that makes books do the same.

I bet anywhere from 500-1000 games a week at about 25 different books.

I am sure I can find 10 games a week with a misprint easily, not even including women's tennis which almost all books screw up spelling of the names.

Frank, I am totally disagree with you.
                  1. It was not misspelled name, it was completely different team from another league. If the bet won, they could easily and fairly void it. I ask them to void it to compensate eventual similar case when my bet won. I was lucky to get back the money in the same way I would be unlucky to have canceled my winning bet.
                  2. It's not a fair game between us and books and advantage is still on books side. Just an example, yu may find a lot of them here, Ladbrokes changed the total for basketball game 2 minutes after I opened lines but it's absolutely impossible to discover it before the bet is placed. It's cheating which made my winning bet lost. Not fair game from A+ bookie, but I have to live with it.
                  3. I bet in tennis for 2 years, but now I consider it as not profitable anymore.Never had a problem or noticed a misspelled name.
