    GAMBLERSPALACE.COM, max payout
This is just a heads up to anyone thinking of using www.gamblerspalace.com . Most books for horse racing have a max payout of 5000-1 (Bodog and Nine.com) 1000-1 (Bookmaker and BetJamaica), however Gamblers Palace offers its customers 300-2 max payout or 150-1. Not even in the same ballpark as others.

Unfortunately I have learned the hard way, when I looked on there site I did not see any max payouts listed and a won a pick 4 ticket that should have paid $1399.10 (Track payout) and Gamblers Palace paid me $150.00 on it.

After questioning the payout and the fact I did not see track odds posted on the site, I was put on hold for 12 mins, after the 12 mins, they came back and said it's right on the site. Magically there was now a single highlighted sentence that stated exotic wagers pay 300-2 max payout. Maybe I missed it when I first looked, maybe it was just added?

This is just a warning of what type of odds Gamblers Palace pays its customers.

    Plasma,

Fill out a complaint and we'll look at it. First, we can check rules archives to make sure the rule was there. Second, it's not reasonable for a book to bury a term like that in fine print, and still take a bet that can't pay max.

First off, Welcome to the SBR forum

I was just looking at the SBR rules monitor just now and didn't see anything on this subject within them during the last scanning. However, that doesn't mean it wasn't in place prior to that. Please feel free to fill out a complaint form and one of us will inquire to them on your behalf in order to find out all the details.

Just a update, we have been going back and forth on this issue all week, also thank you to SBR for contacting them. They have offered me a $500 free play with seven times rollover AND said they will update there horse racing payouts by the end of month.

I have made a counter offer of getting a $500 bonus instead of the $500 freeplay. (still with 7X rollover required)

I emailed them yesterday morning and have not heard back yet, I will keep you posted.

Actually Bodog and the other book you mentioned are in the minority. Bodog on some tracks you can even get higher than 5000-1 I think. But most books 150-1 is common.

Just to let you know I have spoken to a customer service rep named Glen at Gamblers Palace and he did work things out with me in regards to this issue, he was very helpfull.

They did issue me a $500 free play with 7X rollover, more important they did say they would look into the horse racing odds and "update" them as they are the same as when they started 10 years ago.

All in all after dealing with a few people Glen was able to take care of this issue in a reasonable matter!

              Thanks
              Glen
