    Experiences at BetPhoenix?
I am looking at BetPhoenix as a potential out for reduced juice. I have Matchbook but they lack flexibility. What are some recent experiences, including the following:

    (1) How early are the lines?
    (2) Payout experiences?
    (3) Policy with players who do well at the book?

I am concerned with the following quotes, though, in its disclaimer section:

"Bonus programs are intended for recreational bettors only. At the discretion of sportsbook management, professional player or players considered to be abusing the bonus system by any means may have bonuses revoked; bonus funds and proceeds gained by using bonus funds and be subject to further sanctions."

"Non-Recreational players (as determined by Management) may have greater rollover requirements placed on their account. These requirements must be met before they are eligible to receive a payout. Any payouts processed before requirements are met will result in possible bonus forfeiture. Furthermore, BetPhoenix reserves the right to confiscate any bonuses and/or money won with said bonuses if Management determines a player to be Non-Recreational."

Any experiences related to these disclaimers would be appreciated.

I cannot use Pinnacle; Bet Guardian and The Pig do not fit my needs; I heard too much negative publicity on Loose Lines and BetOnLine.

    Thanks in advance.

The only disclaimer enforcement I can recall in recent history from BetPhoenix is this one sir.

I think just abt everyone has those types of draconian disclaimers. It appears that this book is doing everything it can to be a legitimate player in this industry. BBD and I use to rag on them abt their lack of ewallets. so they go out and get them.

They allow some book2book and also b2b with their sister book OT.

Payouts are same day with ewallet. i believe the max is 4k per week.

Bonuses are great, but typical for a book trying to steal clients away from BOL, Dimes, Pig, Guardian, etc

If they go like this thru another football season, they will be a strong A book.

Only one I know for sure is Cris. supposedly working on others. If they can manage Olympic and matchbook--they will grab alot of new players.

Priscilla Arguello: Hello, welcome to our live support service, how can I help you?
            jeff: Hello
jeff: What books do you do book transfers with?
            Priscilla Arguello: none actually...

Katstale was correct with mentioning Cris in regards to B2B transfers, also I remember their fees were pretty high too. I'm kind of curious to know when they stopped doing them altogether though.

I am with you on this BBD. that b2b info was good as of a week ago. i would get with one of the managers that come on here. Get the real low down. CS is often clueless.

I also remember them doing B2B transfers with DSI ($50 fee) also. Now grant it I noted that info back in July, 2008, however let me see if I can obtain an update on this one gentlemen.

As far as I know they DO NOT do book transfers with Cris family anymore (or anyone else for that matter). I have been asking for a couple of months, and for some reason they do not offer that option anymore. Any clarification on this would be fantastic. There fees were rather high (I think around $200 for a transfer no matter the amount).

My experiences with them have been great though. They payout quickly, and a couple of there customer service reps have been exceptional at answering my questions and following up with any issue that I have (except for the book transfer question).

I think BetPhoenix is the best relatively new sportsbook around. I signed up a year ago and have had a great experience with BetPhoenix. You asked about how they treat players that have done well. I have had great luck there and won a lot and I am treated very well. I have requested many mail payouts and have received my checks within 2 to 5 days of my request every time.

                        I've been with BP about 7 weeks.I'm down there,so I can't verify
                        a quick pay-ouy.They seem like a top-notch book though.

Overnights in CBB are available,as is lots of other stuff.

It seems like they are trying to take the next step.Hope
                        this helps!!

I can share my short experience with them.
I opened an account to try them out. I waited the 2 week mandatory before I tried to withdrarwal. When that time came I called and asked for the free withdrarwal method. They told me that I had to wait 14 business days, not 2 weeks. I told them their website says 2 weeks, not 14 business days. Then they said their "free" method is not available. So I ended up paying $75 to get my money. I only opened an account cause I thought I could get my money out for free. So after all this mess, I was awaiting a Moneygram. They did not take the money out of my account for 2 days, they must have been hoping that I'd blow it if it sat there. When I called enough times to complain, they finally removed my money and the next day O got the control #.
This is only my experience, others may have positive ones.
I just cant see playing at a book that wants to hold you cash hostage for 3 weeks. I can see if it was a CC deposit, but I sent them cash!
I will never play there again!

Big joe, sorry to hear about those problems. I think their policy on free payouts is only for check requests but I agree the website says players must wait 2 weeks not 14 business days so they should follow their rules. I will be calling to request a withdrawal today and will let people know how it goes.

The check is what I requested! They told me it was unavailable at that time, so I took moneygram since I had to pay anyways, figured it would be fastest way out of them all. If the free way was unavailable, they should offer some sort of discount or something, then to leave my money in my account for 2 days after request is BS. Any other solid book takes it out right away.
I told them they should update their website rules, but they don't care.

I forgot to mention that my experience was 2 months ago.
                                They might be better now.
At least they updated the software (that was another thing I didnt like about them)

i opened an account the beginning of baseball season last year. i have had 2 payouts since then both for 2k. they send checks, and i received mine 2 days after the request the first time and 3 days the second time. both payouts had no fees. they changed their format about 1 or 2 months ago and stopped offering football game props. they do not have a delay on bet confirmations. they have reduced juice lines on full game lines. they also have team totals which i play. i believe their lines are not put out as early as some other books, but thats not something i look for so i'm not sure. when i have called them , their reps have spoken very clear english. i think the lady i talked with is canadian and quite nice. i hope the prop bets return but will still play there regardless. i have not yet had a wager graded incorrectly at betphoenix which is unusual in my experience.

Good book, and one of 4 must-haves for soccer gamblers (pinnies, sbo, ibc/12bet). 10c lines for US sports if you don't take large bonuses too.

Our Football props offering has not changed, we have had several changes in our site and this may have confused some members, but we pretty much have always maintained the same exotic betting offering.

Whenever you're not able to find what you want, please contact us at props@betphoenix.com or call in and any of our clerks will be willing to help.
