Oddsmaker bonus scam costs another player $1,500
Oddsmaker (SBR rating D-) bonus scam costs another player $1,500.

The player player placed parlays and striaght wagers when betting with his Oddsmaker try-us-out bonus money. A player has a parlay in his acount history will see his account set to zero when he eventually requests a payout. The sportsbook routinely allows players to make winning plays for months despite the fact that a parlay wager early in the account history will be reason to deny payout requets. The fine print regarding parlays is on the book's rules page and not supplied with the promotion.

Oddsmaker previously told SBR they would honor winnings prior to when the first parlay wager was made, would add the rule to the correct website pages, and clarify the rule in its terms of service. The book has not made these changes and players continue to waste winning picks on an account that cannot yield a profit. Players who have added to their balance with deposited funds have also had winnings removed despite having their own funds at risk and enough deposited cash to cover the wager.
Oddsmakers.com sent me an email for a free $200 account which had no strings or restrictions. Over the months between baseball and football wagers, I built it up to $2,000, then lost some where I currenty have juslt under $1,500 sitting in a real money account. I wanted to request a $500 cashout as I was laid off from my job. When I talked with live chat requesting one, they said I couldn't have one since I didn't meet the so-called conditions of terms.
Now, when I went back to check my real money balance, they wiped it out completely showing 0 balance just because I asked for a PIN. Why didn't they wipe this out long, long, ago, why wait until I ask for a PIN over 8 months later?

            Jacey,
If we gave every book who stole an F, that's where they would be. Unfortunately there are even bigger scams.

            FiveTeamer,
Glad you were able to avoid. Click on Dan's links to see where players weren't as lucky.

This happened to me too, I was given $100 "bonus" and after I reached past $1500 anything I have above that I could cash out. I reached over $3200 and was then told I made an illegal parlay bet, even though I was never informed of such a rule and was allowed to make the bet. The site's so called customer service was not helpful at all and tried to make me feel like I did something wrong when they are withholding at least $1700 from me!!! Avoid this site at all costs!!

Is there anything that can be done to rectify this??

Do you know if this parlay rule was in their TOS at the time you placed the bet?

You can fill out a complaint form with SBR, sir.

You should put a sticky on this thread so people see this. The way EOG's The SHRINK and his stooge over there pump up this shit book as a place to park your money is criminal.

Since you never had even one penny at risk, a fairer statement would be "maybe I can get some of THEIR money from them".

Any site that offers free money for trying them out without the requirement of putting any of your own money at risk, it can't come as a total shock when its difficult to collect from them come withdrawal time.

As far as Oddsmaker being a shady outfit, I definitely agree. Hopefully this forum stops people from depositing real money with them.

Oddsmaker are crooks. What a racket. Get a list of degenerate gamblers, send them an e-mail saying try our book, here's $500. The majority lose, and then will send them money thinking they are a good book. The few that win with the free cash, Oddsmaker just says we are not paying you...good-bye.

                            Oddsmakers Scam Mail

Question. I live a conservative apartment block. I have never went near this site but of course have lots of gambling sites in my rolladex. However Oddsmakers.com had over 8 other addresses in my building. How and where are they getting all these addresses from? What lists are they buying?
                            How desparate is this site?

If everyone tried to beat them how can they their Customer Service reps not lose it with all these calls.

I tried them for there free $100 deal 2 years ago. After using the same code 4 times with different variations of my name and address, I cashed out for almost 2k on the 5th time. I got the payment in two weeks. Never sent a dime. Anyway, on each time I signed up and requested the bonus via live chat they cut and pasted the rules. This included no parlays. when I tried a sixth time they were wise to the game and called me out for using the code and having the same ip address. Fortunatly the previous clerks didn't check. Crap book.

This sounds very much like a Sicky Nicky type scam in the making.
