    Warning - don't use Evebet
Strongly suggest people don't touch this place with a bargepole. Just logged on to find they'd arbitrarily changed odds on my bet on the Sacramento Kings from +230 to +140, hours afterwards. The odds on the game have dropped considerably since I made the bet, but at the time the price wasn't abnormal - looking at sbrlines, pig/legendz had just dropped to +215 a minute earlier, Jazz were still +225. Pinnacle were +183, and wsex/greek/diamond were about the same, so basically eve were slow to move. Should mention evebet do lower juice than some of these books too, so the better price is just a reflection of that.

If that wasn't unacceptable enough, they actually dropped the price to what it eventually fell to 5 hours later, not what it would it been at the time had they moved it (eg pinnacle's +183). That's 40% they've chopped off my winnings - presumably they're overexposed on the line, and have decided to balance the books by changing bets accepted long before.

A book like that can't be trusted, full stop - this is essentially theft. Their livechat was no help at all, and contacting the linespeople they offered no reason.

I wish you'd rated them so I could bug you about downgrading :-)

Looks like it won't matter now, the Kings are going to lose. Not really the point though - I'll be withdrawing all my cash.

Shame, because otherwise they're a really good book, always pay up next morning and -102/103 soccer lines (same as pinnacle).

If I were to rate them I'd probably rate them the way Teddy and yourself feel about them sir. Then again I'd probably play the way you gentlemen do, so the rating would be a fair one.

Whenever ive placed a wager and its been a error they have always sent me a message within 30 minutes of me placing the bet saying its a error and they apologizes for this. They have always gave me the option to cancel it or accept it at the correct odds. They also say that if i dont reply before the game starts then it will be accepted at the new odds.
Problem is sometimes you log off and they always send the message to your betting account messaging service instead to your email.
Ive never had a problem withdrawing my funds and always get my money at 3am the next day. If i wasnt getting my money id be worried.

Thing is, it wasn't an error - I never bet bad lines for that reason, the palp risk makes it pointless/counterproductive. They were just marginally slower to move than others (and not the slowest, Jazz had 3.25 aka +225 for something like 30 mins longer). Other books I bet that line on didn't void.

I suspect all that happened is a lot of money went on it, the line moved to 2.4 aka +140 or so, and they didn't like the unbalanced book so decided to invent an error.

Edit: added US style lines, forget you guys don't use decimal.

If you have screenshots Hee, it would be great if you would file a formal SBR complaint, that modification of the odds is plain stealing on the sportsbook's part.

If no one complains, they probably will feel that no one cares and continue doing that sh*t.

Will do - have the s/shots.

Do the SBR folks mind? Is it worthwhile for an unrated book? (allbeit it one that is advertising fairly heavily on a number of prominent websites).

I understand where you are coming from. I placed a wager on a Chelsea game, i think on total yellows, they had it has over/under 5 1.90 either side. I bet under and was told it was a error and i could get it voided if i didnt want to accept the new odds. The odds then went to 1.40.

But it has worked the other way for me, ive placed some wagers where i thought that cant be the right price and they have accepted and paid out on.

I'd have serious issues playing here. If a book routinely does that kind of crap where it isn't warranted, I couldn't imagine it being higher than D or D+ if it were rated.

I don't mind sir. Please feel free to post them if you wish too. Just make sure all your personal info is blacked out for your own safety.

A book can't change the odds on a placed bet without consent, ever. If they want to invent voids, that's shady as hell, but any book that changes odds without consent should be an automatic F. It's no different from systematically no-paying players they don't approve of.

To me this stands out. Nobody who has half a brain is going to accept a play at a substantially reduced price, yet they force this onto you rather than doing the honorable thing and cancelling what they perceive to be a bad line.
