Where should I put my money?
Well I'm quite obviously a newbie to the forums. I've been betting NFL and NCAA for the last two years or so through a local bookie. I was thinking about putting some money into an online site to change it up a bit however I'm 19 and most of them seem to have you check a box or something to confirm being 21. I think they'd have no problem taking my money but I don't want to screw myself over down the road if I try to withdrawal. Should this be a concern? I can always stick with the local guy cause I've never had a problem being paid but I was just hoping for some input. Thanks in advance

Canada or the USA? I'm in Canada, and I'm 18 and Pinnacle let me deposit.

5Dimes (SBR Rated A) would be the book I would recommend to you sir. They offer the most wagering options as well as prompt payouts. Their age restrictions are 18 years old, so you do qualify to play there.

Lol guess I should have specified, USA. I also don't know (if anyone knows) with being in the US, are there any problems with gambling online if you live in the US as far as sports goes? I know my cousin had problems with an online poker site because he was in the U.S.

My initial deposit has to be Western Union or Sportsbook transfer. Seems like a pain lol. Any other recommendations?

You can always deposit via credit card at either Intertops (SBR Rated B+) or Carib (SBR Rated B). The both will accept players that are 18 years old.

Maybe you should consider not using a sports book as I think in about one year most US books will be out of bussiness. This law will attempt to shut off the funds flowing from the customer and the sports books. When this happens how do you think the sports books will react. You want be able to get your money and thats why I have quit and withdrawn my funds. Yes this was another midnight drop by the current administation. The following is a letter I received from the Poker Players Association today.

I have unfortunate news to report. Despite the efforts of the poker community, the opposition of the banks and the recent news exposing inappropriate influence by the White House, today the current administration finalized the UIGEA regulations to be made effective on January 19th the day before president-elect Obama officially takes office. A copy of the final UIGEA regulations and the PPA’s response can be found on our Web site.
