    Moneybookers- Pounds or Dollars?
Assuming youre starting in pounds, what is most advisable- to convert pounds to dollars for the MB account so you can put $ into sportsbooks, pokerrooms etc......or is it better to leave it in pounds and then convert as needed? I would think dealing in dollars is best for the most part but I'm not even sure the options.....anyone with any advice here?

My life is in £ and my NT/MB/gambling accounts are all in dollars. For me, it has been the obvious best way to do things for a number of years. I only have to exchange at one of my books, and that book even then wires £'s straight to my £ account so I only get hit one way. The vast, vast majority of what I do is in $.

If you are a VIP customer then you can have 2 accounts with different currencies.

My moneybooker is in USD Dollar, so no problem for me as I get use to it, but if in pound... I had a difficult time calculate the rate

I prefer to have my own currency MB account due to fluctuation of $ value. Not sure about Pounds, but at least Euro is well supported in most books and in European poker rooms.

Moneybookers charges vig anytime you convert currencies, even between your own 2 accounts if you are VIP. If you plan on moving money around between books frequently I would use the currency that the majority of your books take. In other words...if all the books you want to use take USD, use USD.
