Going live @ Bovada at 11:30am ET. Last match in the 1st round of the new Russian season. Rubin should be on a high as they won the Super Cup over Zenit St.Petersburg recently. That, I am hoping will also amp up the home side to produce at least a goal today against a team expected to be in the top 5-6 in Russia. Rubin has looked deadly in attack in their build-up to the new season, but I'm not quite sure I would want to back them on the road to open especially with the emotion of the Super Cup hangover possible. Instead, I think both teams get on the board today or so the Ninjas hope.

On the road against Rosenborg. Rosenborg are facing Europa League elimination this week after slipping to a 2-2 home draw with Ordabasy. Now they have to travel for the 2nd leg of that on Thursday. Lillestromg has only lost by two goals or more twice in seven road tilts. Rosenborg have only won by more than a goal in one of their last eight overall in the league. Four straight for them at home have either ended with them dropping points or winning by a lone goal. Lillestrom also have a nice run of form in the last few years @ Rosenborg with three draws in their last four trips.
