Ponte Preta are on a great streak to open play in Brazil's top league. They have taken points in five straight after losing their opener. Certainly this will be their biggest test against 3rd place Vasco de Gama. VDG is coming off a home loss to Cruizero and are 2-1 @ home this season, with just one win by more than a single goal. VDG is more talented, but right now - this appears to be a closer match than odds suggest perhaps.

I dare not admit defeat in this one. Cruziero +0.5 @ +125 at the half. They've been the more dangerous team even though they trail 2-1. Their D has tightened up while they are still creating pretty good chances. Going for them to at least level this ... or lose more money trying.

Apparently all the goals come in the 1st 15 minutes of the half. SP went up 3-1. Cruzeiro draws back to 3-2 inside of 54 minutes.

Yeah I think it's safe to say LA's offense is in good shape finally and living up to expectations. San Jose hasn't kept a clean sheet at home in quite a while. Would be pretty surprised if there weren't 3 goals at least.

Oh my lord, San Jose with two of the worst defensive plays of 2012 anywhere in the span of a few minutes. The own goal was f-ing hilarious. It looked like the SJ defender wanted to bang it into the goal. He hit it hard straight in and then a terrible pass straight to LA. LoL.

Just starting to get into MLS this season so tonight was my first time looking over lines at halftime on 5dimes but there were a few alternate totals. It doesn't look like they are gonna mess with posting totals in this one unfortunately.

What do you think EP? LA -½ -175, SJ +½ +155. No totals, just spread and ml. Would consider totals, no luck with sides. Had a good night (5-1-1 MLS) sticking to totals. Probably best to sit back and be happy with my winnings.

I took over 6.5 but I wouldnt be shocked if this game ends 3-3 or 4-2. Or honestly I wouldnt be shocked if it ends 6-4 LA.
