I havn't seen anything spectacular from Spain yet. Yes they beat Ireland and Croatia but they are.. Ireland and Croatia. Ronaldo is looking great out there and if Portugal can score 1st, they'll give Spain a run for their money.

I wouldn't call it Portugal love, I'd call it a bunch of soccer n00bs who only know of 1 soccer player named Ronaldo and he's shown on sportscenter so obviously Portugal is the play

Spain are boring as hell to watch. It actually just pisses me off watching them play for whatever reason. But you can't deny that it's effective as hell. The other team can't score if they don't have the ball period. Only Croatia so far has been able to make Spain look vulnerable at all on the counterattack even though they didn't score.

Portugal will get absolutely dominated in midfield, just as France did. Ronaldo won't even have many chances to touch the ball period, let alone any chances to have open space and create offensively. Ribery is a lot more dangerous in that scenario than Ronaldo is since he has the ball skills to beat a defender or two. Ronaldo is more about making good runs down the wings with his world class speed and finishing plays with his world class shot. Against a possession team with a dominant midfield, I'd prefer Ribery to Ronaldo and Spain dealt with Ribery decently well enough, marking him with multiple players, though Ribery did create a lot by himself out of nothing situations.

I would be shocked if Ronaldo is the factor tomorrow that influences the outcome of the game.

Probably won't play it. For big games like this I can only assume that both the linesmakers and the market has set a fair line and I don't know nearly enough about soccer to try to outwit either.

I do think Spain looks dominant and I also think that Ronaldo is overrated but I'll probably just find a small prop to play for this game.
