    Poland v Czech

Joint host’s Poland take on Czech Republic in a crucial encounter that has the opportunity to send either team through to the quarter-finals. It’s still all the play for in group A and with Poland playing on home soil, the atmosphere is going to be electric.
The Czechs are safe in the knowledge that even if they salvage a point form this tie then that could well be enough to see them through, depending that is if Greece fail to win. The Czech Republic’s fortune has since changed from their opening defeat to Russia, when they secured all 3 points against Greece in Wroclaw on Tuesday. As for Poland, they have yet to lose in the tournament but a win is needed in this final group A game clash if they are to reach the quarter-finals. Poland captain, Jakub Blaszczykowski, mentioned to the BBC that he believes Poland can secure an historic advance to the next round and I’m sure the whole of Poland shares his belief too.
The Czechs could be without their Midfield maestro, Thomas Rosicky, as he picked up a knock in the game against Greece. Poland have been more fortunate and have yet to miss a player as a result of injury.

Czech Republic: Cech, Gebre Selassie, Kadlec, Sivok, Limbersky, Rosicky(Maybe), Plasil, Pilar, Hubschman, Jiracek, Baros.

Czech manager, Michal Bilek has Rosicky to think about if he is to be unavailable and could replace him with Kolar.

Poland Team: Tyton, Boenisch, Wasilewsk, Perquis, Piszczek, Dudka, Polanski, Obraniak, Murawski, Blaszczykowski, Lewandowski.
Poland Looked strong against Russia with this team, and have yet to lose so they should enter this game unchanged. Blaszczykowski is the key man for Poland.

Poland have showed they have a sturdy back four so far by not losing, however they haven’t claimed a victory yet either. I believe there are two possible factors have the potential to improve Poland’s chances in winning on Thursday; The crowd and Tomas Rosicky.Any team playing at home have a better support, therefore the Polish fans will carry their team through to the next round. As well as the crowd to be an influence, Tomas Rosicky (if he is unavailable) is a massive loss to the Czechs and will be exploited by Poland. Poland’s striker Jakub Blaszczykowski has looked deadly so I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he snatched a goal.
The Czech Republic do have ex-Liverpool forward Milan Baros whom at times can be a threat so he may produce.
I know it wont be enough to defeat the Polish but enough to fight a draw.

    Poland - Czech 1:1 MyPick Draw@3.540 1Unit

    Greece vs Russia

Russia take on Greece on Saturday, knowing that a point will safely see them through to the knockout stages, in the process eliminating the Greeks. Dick Advocaat’s Russians began their tournament impressively thrashing the Czech Republic, but were held to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday, by a determined Poland side. Greece on the other hand are facing an early exit after the Czech’s defeated them 2-1.
Russia have looked very impressive so far with Alan Dzagoev and Andrey Arshavin pulling the strings, however lapses in concentration have threatened to undo their good work in both matches, and these losses of focus could plague them later in the tournament.

Greece: Sifakis, Maniatis, K Papadopoulos, Torosidi.s, Holebas, Karagounis, Gekas, Katsouranis, Mitroglou, Samaras, Salpingidis

Russia: Malafeev, Anyukov, Ignashevich, Zhirkov, Berezutsky, Shirokov, Denisov, Zyryanov, Dzagoev, Arshavin, Pavlyuchenko.

Russia have a lot of talent going forward and their quick, incisive passing will cause Greece a lot of problems. Often they will feed Arshavin who uses Zhirkov as an outlet or plays in and around the box with Dzagoev, and this is how Russia have created most of their chances.
Word must also be saved for Igor Denisov however, who keeps things ticking over in midfield. He completed 98 passes against Poland. His ability to keep the ball and feed other, more creative players, is key in Russia’s fluidity. Greece often have trouble keeping the ball, and should Denisov get a grip on proceedings, Dick Advocaat’s men will dominate.

      Group B

      Germany 2 2 0 0 3 1 2 6
      Portugal 2 1 0 1 3 3 0 3
      Denmark 2 1 0 1 3 3 0 3
      Netherlands 2 0 0 2 1 3 -2 0

      Portugal vs Holland

Holland face Portugal knowing anything less than a victory by 2 goals will mean they exit Euro 2012. No country has progressed from the group after losing their first two fixtures so the Dutch will have to create history to qualify for the quarter finals.
Portugal also need a result to ensure they make it out of the group. A draw would be good enough if Germany beat Denmark but Portugal can guarantee a place with a win in this match. Either way this game has got the makings of a cracking tie.

Portugal (4-3-3): Rui Patricio, Pereira, Alves, Pepe, Coentrao, Meireles, Veloso, Moutinho, Nani, Postiga, Ronaldo

Holland (4-2-3-1): Stekelenburg, Van der Wiel, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Willems, De Jong, Van der Vaart, Robben, Sneijder, Van Persie, Huntelaar

My prediction is that this game will be a goal feast. The Holland will go all out attack and although I expect them to get a few goals there leaky defence surely won’t be able to stop Ronaldo and Co.
Neither side has yet to keep a clean sheet and it could result in a European Championship classic.
Over 3.5 goals in this game looks a great bet and in the end Portugal will do just about enough to get the draw which would most likely see them come 2nd in the group.

      Portugal - Holland 2:2 MyPick Draw@3.500 1Unit + over3goals@2.300 1Unit

      Germany vs Denmark

Final group game for Germany sees them face a potentially threatening tie with Denmark in Lviv. All Loew and his German men need is a point to see them finish top of the group and easily walk into the quarter-finals, and even a loss depending on other results could also see them through.
However their opponents, Denmark, have defeated the Dutch and narrowly lost to the Portuguese so it’s not exactly a stroll in the park type of occasion for Germany.
Unfortunately for the Danes their talented winger, Dennis Rommedahl pulled up in pain in the game against Portugal with what appeared to be his hamstring so it’s not all surprising if he isn’t involved in the squad on Sunday.
On the plus side, Denmark have Sunderland striker Nicklas Bendtner up their sleeve, as he showed he can score when he put two past Portugal on Wednesday.
As for Germany, Goals machine Mario Gomez has hit form when it is needed most by scoring in the German’s last two matches and helping his side hold top spot of group B.

Germany: Neuer, Hummels, Badstuber, Lahm, Boateng, Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Ozil , Mueller, Podolski, Gomez

I wouldn’t assume that Joachim Loew will want to alter his side too much as this line-up has earned them two victories. However Loew may want to rest a few key names such as Gomes who could be replaced by Klose as a result of Gomez’s fitness throughout the next stages.

Denmark: Andersen, Kjaer, Agger, S Poulsen, Jacobsen, Kvist, Eriksen, Zimling, Krohn-Delhi, Mikkelsen, Bendtner

The most obvious change in the Danish set up is the missing Rommedahl so Mikkelsen could take his place.

If the Germans can put two past a very strong Danish side and still have further chances to score I see Germany putting a few away against Denmark. Mario Gomez is on top form of late and shows he has no mercy over goalkeepers and takes his chances well. Not just Gomez but the likes of Podolski, Klose and Muller can all score goals and I sense that Germany will be too powerful for Denmark.
The Danes however did beat Holland with an excellent strike but in all honesty they rode their luck what with Holland not putting their chances to bed. A comfortable win for Germany on Sunday, which then they will carry forward to the quarter-final stage is definitely on the cards.

All picks are fine, but I don't think Russia not cover the 2 goals. Like the correct score for that game 2-1 Russia win.

Having ensured their qualification as group winners with a win over Croatia on Monday night, Spain now await the runners- up of group D. France will go into the game fully aware of this and know that a win will allow them to avoid the world and European champions, for now at least.
It has been revealed that Laurent Blanc has entered into preliminary talks with Spurs as the North London club look to secure a replacement for recently axed Harry Redknapp. This undoubtedly reflects the great job Blanc has done to steady the ship and the team now appear determined, fresh and most importantly, given the events in South Africa, united.
Ultimately it’s hard to see France dropping points in what would appear to be their easiest game so far. With an abundance of pace and creative talent throughout their attack, the French should prove too strong for Sweden.
