    Portugal vs. Denmark talk
Time and time again we'll see odds that look too good to turn down. Denmark at 5.00(betfair) is ripe for the picking but the bookmakers don't make it this easy. Portugal is only 1.91 but they will not lose.

Laying the Danes at 5.00 is a great bet. They will not win outright 25% of the time here.... I doubt they would even win 15% of the time in this situation.

I am playing $2000 to win $500 that Denmark does not win or tie

betfair is a site where only the users make the odds. I am 'laying' a bet against Denmark win or tie. It has already been taken (someone bet that Denmark will win) at odds of 5.00. That means if Denmark wins they get $2000 from me.... if Denmark does not win I get $500 from them.

Betfair currently takes a 4% commission on my winnings and that is how the site works. So if I win I will only receive a total of $480 (this is the 'juice' playing at betfair).

Well, they lost one and won one in the qualifying group... Pressure is on Portugal, and they've shown time and time again, that they shit the bed in those games. So honestly, I dont like your "lay denmark" here, BUT I admit, that the price is great, way better than the x2 line. I won't play it, but good luck!
And Sunde, you don't understand the simple concept of "back" and "lay", but you're attempting to be good at sportsbetting? Interesting, but not surprising....

I like to make easy bets and thankfully didn't have to sweat at all through this one. Hope everyone was on the winning side
