I have really been relying on web sites and alot of local punters views of their national teams to really look at these games and players but today offers alot more opportunities to really look at these teams and players stats and I actually have seen most of these players in action, germanys squad has 8 players alone from Bayern Munich ( Boateng, Schweinsteiger, Kroos, Gomez, Muller,etc.).
I havent got much of a feel from reading local papers and fan sites on these national teams and reading local punter boards, most punters seem to have alot of confidence in their national squads here, havent really read much of serious injuries other than Sorensen for the Danes etc.
Netherlands -1 +148 risk 2
Netherlands -127 risk 1.27
You really have to take into account how tough this group here is and what goal differential could mean and what a draw could mean to Holland if they were were not to win facing the weakest team of this tough group. Holland has looked extremely impressive in qualifiers, they come into euro 2012 in pretty good form winning all their qualifiers in dominating fashion, losing only to sweden in a game that didnt matter, they had a few bad games in friendlies but looked alot better recently.
Having guys like Robben and a guy Van Persie coming off the greatest year of his career should prove too much for Denmark here. Denmark does have Eriksen in the midfield but I thought Bendtner was real disappointment for Arsenal. I just dont think the Denmark defense they are going to be able to contain Robben ,Van Persie, Huntelaar and Afellay. Holland looks to go with a 4-2-3-1 system and Huntelaar should be able to come off the bench to add some firepower if needed, this is pretty incredible to have two strikers like Van Persie or Huntelaar if needed.
Holland is an attacking offense and this shouldnt be a dull or low scoring game if you look at the stats from Hollands qualifiers, Holland plays a style of football that gives them plenty of opportunities on counter attacks and Denmark is definitely going to miss Sorensen in goal here. The Danes may park the bus in the back or stack more players in midfield and the Dutch should definitely dominate possession here.
This may not be replay of the 2010 Holland victory over Denmark in the world cup, but Denmark hasnt beaten Holland in 45 years and a draw would be like a loss for Holland in this tough group
Germany (-.5) +118 risk 1
Russia to win group A +151 risk 2
Germany to win group B +131 risk 2
Germany to win euro 2012 +344 risk 2
Spain to win euro 2012 +275 risk 1
Van Persie o1.5 -171 risk 1.71
Klose o1.5 goals +119 risk 1
Benzema o1.5 -157 risk 1.57
