Question about betting soccer

I never bet soccer before but I was just just browsing the lines on 5Dimes and I'm wondering, what's the difference between betting the spread that's a PK and betting the ML? Isn't it the same thing really? The ML has better odds, so wouldn't one just pick the ML?

ML = team to win in regular time, PK is draw no bet, ie if the game ends in a draw in reg time, you get your money back. You win with PK only if the team you chose wins the game, if its a draw ,money back, if the other team wins, you lose the bet
