Not really a surprise though. Although the part that he is "sick of the pressure" is pure crap. Not once have I read that somewhere.

I'm curious as to who will be his successor... First guess would be Bielsa.

Lot of people talking about Bielsa.

But I don´t know, Bielsa is a tough guy, he may say no and stay in Bilbao, he already said no to Inter and to some other teams I think.

Bielsa usually leaves just if he doesn't feel comfortable.

So true, I really liked what he did with Chile but then everything fell and he left. Bilbao in EL and Copa del rey final and still in contention for CL spot and Europa spot.

Alex ferguson has banned journalists for far less, wenger has walked out of press confrences,

The press conference after el classico was a disgrace. The press were questioning peps managerial skills,

They wouldnt dare do that at a press conference in england

              Maybe in the papers yes

Sources close to pep have said it was the pressure he was put under. Just remember madrid have sacked coaches in the past who have won the champions league, the pressure in spain is far worse as u dont just have to win, u have to play a certain way.

Pat McCrotch I agree! Spanish press is a disgrace, u can find a lot of examples of the stupid things they do in press conferences.

Well Tito Vilanova is going to be the new manager

                  That was not expected!

I think its the fact they were questioning him as a manager after all he has won that was the final straw.

                      Look what he has won:

The way he was treated the last few weeks is just not acceptable!!!!!

Jose has been treated like dirt too!!!!

Rijkaard did a similar thing before Guardiola. They're player coaches, and they know when their impact is no longer there. Barca needs a new wind, because their game has become too predictable. It started out with the Dutch school, but the quick little passing to break through the heart of the defense is Argentinian school. They're barely using the wings anymore. Every opponent knows what's coming and clogs up the middle.

most stupid comment ever ... he wanted to stop last year but somehow he kept going. When there is no desire to do something, whats the point of pushing it hard.

Tito + Jordi Alba + one stiker + villa back = Barca madrid 6-0
