I don't think both Spanish clubs will advance, one of them has to be out of the game.

Lock of the 21st century. It's such a huge lock that I think I'm dreaming.
Actually might be too good to be true, but I still think it's a lock.

Is there any basis for that thinking, or just a hunch? I personally think you would be quite wrong. Both Spanish clubs win by margin at home.

Yes, I will likely place a smaller wager on Barcelona -1.5 and Real Madrid -1 parlay as well

Both Spanish clubs could win their respective game and yet not advance. Not sure what this comment has to do with his parlay suggestion.

After seeing Chelsea in the first leg, I think it's pretty safe to say that Barcelona will win by at least 2 goals.I'm not so confident about Real though, yes of course they are the favorites, and I'm taking them too with some AH, but Bayern might put up a good fight.

I have no doubt that Bayern will be a good matchup, they have motivation to try to make it home for the final, but I think at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid will be able to dominate offensively enough to at least secure a 1 goal win.

the problem with madrid is their defense. They could concede 2 goals to bayern, and that might be too much to overcome. I could see the game ending in a 2-2 draw or something. If madrid press too many men forward trying to score, then they could lose the game outright too. Bayern is not a team I would want my money against. I think Barcelona will kill chelsea though, so I am playing -1.5 on barcelona.

All Madrid need is 1 goal without conceding to qualify. Mourinho knows how to set up his defense to do it if they can score that goal.

There is a reason why this was the 'Square Champions League Parlay'.
98 times out of 100, Messi scores that PK, and this game goes 3-1, then 4-1 Barca. And this is the second game in a row that Barca has hit woodwork twice against Chelsea, surely the soccer gods are smiling on the blues.

This play was still a winner until Fernando Torres scored his first goal in... hmmm, about forever, and in the 90th plus minute to boot. Almost surprised the Spaniard didn't try to dribble to the corner flag since a 2-1 loss still got them thru and there was 45 seconds left-- he surely didn't want to flub another breakaway. Any bet can suffer a loss from a bad beat. This was one of them.
