CEST 20.45 Eng Conf: Gateshead - Luton * Gateshead to win (+325)
Luton is in the race for a play-off spot and are 1 point ahead of their only rival Kidderminster. Luton has 1 more game to play after this, which is away against league-leader Fleetwood. Kidderminster has 1 game to play at home against #3 Mansfield, which by no means is an easy task to win (they need a win cause of GF/GA).
With all that in mind, tonight will be Luton's best shot to assure themselves a spot in the play-offs if they win, so the pressure is on. Luton is in a pretty good form winning 3 out of 4 (3 at home, draw away) but have lost 4 out of there last 6 away games with 2 draws.
Gateshead have nothing to play for but won their last 4 at home straight.
I expect an intense game with a lot of pressure on Luton to make it happen and win them a spot in theplay-offs. As often these pressure games have weird outcomes, and with the home/away record of both teams and the price for a home victory, I am gonna give it a go and give it to Gateshead.

My play is they will win both halfs, not HT/FT which is currently -125. The reason why it took both halves is that I think that if they win at HT they will win the second half as well. Just think about the scores where Barca would be up at HT and what the consequences of that lead are.Originally posted by BigBurk
In short what my thought process is:
In general Barca is the much! better team and I see them all out attack and Chelsea purely defending to try and hold on and maybe counter (last game at home they didn't get much but some lucky 1 shot 1 goal)
Barca lead 1-0: gives confidence, they already have the better team and will create chances. Chelsea will likely still only defend.
Barca leads 2-0 (3-0/3-1): Chelsea needs to come...room for Barca ----> win
Barca leads 2-1: Chelsea will defend, Barca under pressure cause they need a goal in 45, but with the confidence they have cause they scored twice and being the better team and the (in my eyes) fact that they will create 2-3 good chances each half at least will win them the half.
With this reasoning (which ofcourse is my view, and can be wrong by all means) there is not so much point in losing a full point +180 -125 and choose for the HT/FT but instead take the value and make it wins both halves.Comment -

You are absolutely right. I decided to lay of this game tonight, just can not make up my mind. I was going back and forth between the HT/FT or the draw HT/ Barca FT at +350. My final lean was heavy to the +350 bet but this can go either way.

They have 2 games left each in the competition (rest of the lague has one). Basing is in 6th place at even points with #5 Chelmsford but much less GF/GA. Next week they play away against #3 so they really need a win tonight to keep matters in their own hands. They have won 7 out of their last 8 played and won 4 straight when playing away.
They are facing Hampton who are in relegation spot at #21 with 2 points behind Havant, who are 19th which is the safe place. Hampton needs a win as well so considering both teams having the same goal I expect an open game which favors the better team that is also in good form.
