It's been about a year since my Hockey thread died and so here we go again. The main purposes of this thread is for me keep myself honest and discipline to limit my number of plays per day. All opinions welcome!

Rules of the thread: All regular plays are 1 unit, big plays are 2 units and sprinkle/parlay plays are 1/4 units.

Football: Going light today as i haven't had much time to look at the games. Going to take a flyer on Blackpool as the better and home team. I also expect a lot of goals in the Dutch league, let's hope they are in my games.

Bulls: This game will be close in the beginning but the Bulls will pull away in the 2nd half. Kyrie Irving can't do it all.

Hawks/Sens: On first glance, this game screams over with the Hawks potent offense and poor goaltending. The Sens can light up the board too. However, new Sens goalie Lehner has been playing lights out and Ray Emery is return to Ottawa. I expect a strong showing from Emery.

Well, not perfect but a pretty good start so far. I hit all my soccer plays except for Blackpool and the Dor/Maas over. I called it this morning that there will be a lot of goals in the Dutch league. every game had a minimum of 3 goals except the one I picked. Should have went with my first instinct and played more overs there. Oh well, at least they are only half unit plays.

I am also liking the Anahiem Ducks for my late night play. It's very juicy so I'm going to parlay it with the Bulls. I hear Kyrie Irving might not be playing after all.

Good barking dog win from Tampa, and then the Sabres gave me a heart attack my scoring 3 goals in the first period and chased off Loungo! I knew they would play well in ths game, but i didnt expect this. To think I almost played Buffalo ML at +170 too. Sigh, with the score being 3-1 and 20 mins to go, at least i can still hope for a push. Kings looking good so far, hope they keep it up.

Oh Newcastle, 19 goal attempts and only 1 goal in the last minute. Too little too late.

I slept on it and thought about it. An avenging and healthy Bulls will too much for the Sixers to overcome. They didnt have Deng and Rip last time.

Definitely taking some risks here and going against the grain for my football plays. I expect the Zenit game to be high scoring much like the first leg as they are not secured the next round yet.

I was hoping for a hockey sweep, but the instant I saw that Mathieu Garon got injured and Roloson came in, I knew the bet was lost. Overall, a small losing day but mostly thanks to my basketball and hockey plays. Maybe I have to ride the hot hand and go small on soccer for a while until I get my groove back.
