Hello All,

Long time SBR member, first time thread-creator. Ive been betting on various sports for varying amounts of time, and lately Ive been focussing on football. Just thought Id start a thread to keep track of my bets and be a little more disciplined about it. Follow at your own risk...

I dont think Ive ever lost a bet quite so emphatically. At least it was quick, painless and entertaining.

Stoke City v Swansea City
Over 2.5 goals - 2.1 (1u)

Slow start last week. Couple of small plays on the Championship game on Friday night.

Blackpool vs Hull
Hull: 0.0, -0.5 @ 1.95 (1u)
Correct Score 0-0 @10.0 (0.5u)
Correct Score 0-1 @10.0 (0.5u)

Cant see this being a high-scoring affair. Blackpool have been scoring fairly readily but against struggling sides (Bristol C, Doncaster, Coventry and a less-than-solid-at-the-back Cardiff).

Hull have gone 6 championship games without conceding, including against in-form sides Birmingham and Brighton most recently, whilst creating plenty of their own chances without scoring. No reason why they should take something from this game.

With 4 of their last 5 ending 0-0 or 1-0 to Hull, a couple of cheeky correct score bets at decent prices cant hurt...

Another small loss tonight due to my correct score bets, cancelling out the Hull 0.5, but it took an excellent goal to beat the Hull defence.

Also going for Arsenal to win - draw no bet @2.62 (1u) in the early game against Lpool, just to make the watching more interesting. Both teams have had kinda crazy build ups with big wins followed by international injuries. Too hard to call. Id stay clear if it werent on tv... Im just bored.

I have a free bet with Betfair to use, so sticking it on this. Everybody and their dog seems to be on Arsenal and the over, I just cant believe that Milan will roll over as easily as people are portraying. Id usually avoid this if it werent a free bet.

I've bet against Arsenal at home against Tottenham and Milan, and emphatically lost both times. Newcastle are in a quiet spell; embarrassed at Fulham and Tottenham, unable to beat a Wolves side in turmoil, and only recent wins coming against off-form (in the middle of their worst run ever) Villa and Blackburn.

Was actually thinking of going for the under in the City Chelsea game. City being solid at home, whilst Chelsea have been much more sound at the back since AVB left. But both have defensive injuries tonight, so think ill avoid it.

I expect Stoke to go with their usual tactic of turning up to try and play out a nil-nil draw, as they so often do against big teams away (see Chelsea the other week). Not sure an out of form Tottenham will break them down.

The draw bet salvaged my evening for a small loss yesterday.

There have been over 3 goals in the last 8 league games for Millwall who play and erratic Leeds side.

As a Forest fan, Im all too prepared for them to follow up their amazing midweek game with an anticlimatic performance at home today, but still think there should be goals, as, despite recent scoring form, they remain shaky at the back, and Brighton have only failed to score in 1 league game this calendar year, against an ever solid Hull.
