I'm not sure how you could even start quantify something as nebulous as that.

Are you hoping to use it for statistical analysis? I'm not sure you could gain an edge by that because of the complicated factors that influence public consensuss, let alone actually take usuable data from it.

always interested in discussing this sort of thing though.

        Yeah, that's an interesting site.

But how do you seperate the noise from relevant data? The problem with using statistical data for football, in my opinion, is how contextual each input or variable is.

So the public is betting big on a line - what does that even really mean?

        Are they being influenced by
        A)a generous line
        B)relevant information
        C)tips from a publication

that's without even addressing who the public are.....

              I use http://www.freesportsbet.com/consensus/SOC.html
I do not know how accurate it is tho. Scroll over odds and it shows opening and current lines. I use it to find odds that drop.
Odds dropped on ajax from +600 to like +450 or so yesterday so I tried small on it live @80th min

On the bwin mobile site sometimes in the sports section appears like a banner with match where is mentioned the percentage of picks on one side.

Is there any bookmaker that offers such data?
