SouthAmerican Qualifying Matches for WC2010 (Tues / Wed)
    Hello Boys!

Lets get some games in the mix of you american football lovers and take a peak at these great soccer match ups for Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th:

    Tuesday:

    Paraguay vrs Venezuela

Paraguay tied this past Sunday against Argentina (1-1) and leads the group with 14pts (above Brasil and Argentina, each with 12 pts). Some say they were fortunate, own gol by Gabrielle Heinz (Argentinian defender) and Carlos Tevez was red carded in the 1st Half. Therefore, Paraguay simply increased its defense strategy and counter attacked.

Venezuela surprisingly isn't the worst team, with 7 pts and above Peru and Bolivia (6 and 4) they seem to have a great over all team to stand up and give a good fight. They lost 1-0 against Peru in a crucial match to move away from the lower rankings, however, they failed to do so with a terrible defensive job, costing them a gol and the match.

Paraguay -1 -120 seems to be a good pick, however, I would preferr to take the Over 2.5 +111

    Chile vrs Colombia

Chile got crushed last game against Brasil (3-0) and showed no style what so ever. Brasil dominated 75% of the match, leaving Chile simply praying for the match to be over with. Not much to mention about them. There tied with Colombia (10 pts each).

Colombia until Sunday was the only undefeated team (2 wins and 4 ties), unfortunately for them the encountered their first defeat in this tournament, against a great Uruguayan team. They did dominate most of the game, but not being able to complete the plays, cost them 3 pts, which are crucial at this stage.

This game has Colombia written all over it, therefore the pick:

    Colombia pk +114

    Peru vrs Argentina

Perubeat Venezuela on Sunday and brought new life to the squad. It wasnt the best match played by them, but it definitely brought in 3 "golding" pts. Their momentum is at peak, but it all might go down in Lima.

Argentina Has 2 guys down for this match (Abonnanzieri and Tevez) 2 key players (gol keeper and striker). Will they be good without them? I say yes, Carrizo showed Argentina that he can step up to the plate and be the #1 gol keeper for his squad, and you dont have to worry about strikers taking Tevez position, Argentina has plenty.

I believe this is a gift for all of us soccer fans, therefore my pick is:

    Argentina -1 +107 and take the Over 2.5 +107

Good luck to us all ... lets see what surprises arise!
