My strategy in these parlays is that I pick a team with ML at 1.4 or 1.5, a team in solid form at the moment and with a good history of latest results at a stadium where the game will take place. For example, I had two suitable options last night in NBA. Boston at Detroit @ 1.48 and Houston at home against Utah @ 1.42. But Boston had only one win in 5 latest games on the road and Detroit is definitely better than a few weeks ago. That's why I chose Houston. The same thing in NHL - I could take Bruins, NY or Canucks. If you look at the odds, Bruins were the easiest bet yesterday. Except it wasn't. In the latest 16 games Bruins had only 3 wins in regulation time, and they are even worse on the road. I almost bet on them, but luckily didn't pull the trigger. And chose Canucks instead, they are in great form and against an opponent who has about 30% winning percentage at home.

Betis are fun, they can cover this total alone by scoring three, or by conceding. I would never risk to pick a side in this game, but the over sounds good. Especially knowing the history of these two teams.

Napoli are better than Chelsea and CSKA have enough of striking power to score at least a goal.

Not so sure about the over though, be careful with this pick.

Now that I'm home, I'll elaborate my choices.

#1. Both teams are more than capable to keep their sheet clean. And Fiorentina is probably the most boring road team in Serie A. This is my favorite play of the night.

#2. I'm sure I don't need to explain why Real will not leave moscow without a goal. As for CSKA, with Doumbia back from African Cup, it shouldn't be an impossible problem to break Madrid's defense. Levante, for example, did it twice. And Doumbia is one of the best strikers in european championships at the moment. Really, he is. I'm not sure about his current form after the winter break, but he should be allright. Alan Dzagoev is able to score too, of course. These guys are able to create difficulties for Real tonight.

#3 and #4. Napoli in CL is a different team from Serie A. They are agressive, fast, emotional and they always want to win against any team. Chelsea ,even with Essien and Drogba back, are crap. They just can't play football right now. The only question is - is this thing psychological or not? If it is, you never know when Chelsea will bounce back. But when they will, we'll know it. Right now 2.38 for Napoli's win is a great value.

tony, I've got odds on calgary flames to win at 1,57 only @bovada/bodog. I see most other sportsbooks have them at 1,90. bovada is a 'us bookie' so it might be they are expecting an easy win for calgary ...

1.90 is for a win in regulation time, 1.57 is Calgary ML including overtime and penalties (1.65 at my bookie), that would explain the difference. And yeah, probably an easy win, that's why I suggested this game. Sadly, the only NBA game that qualifies for my system is Portland at home against Spurs, but that's just dumb. I would never bet on Portland in this spot, even though Spurs +4.5 line seem to good to be true.

I parlayed Calgary with Napoli +0.5 @ 2.25 and feel pretty confident about it. I also took Spurs +4.5 anyway.

They need to calm down. There was a lot of chances to create a dangerous attack, but they are too nervous. HT should help, and change Tosic already, from the moment CSKA bought him, I can't understand what's he doing on the field. He suck at everything. I'd like to see Keisuke Honda and Tomas Necid in the second half.
