Me too, I just wanted to see this spectacle for the great derby that it should be, and the referee ruined the whole game. Very suspicious.

It was very nice of Sir Alex to bring Scholes on and make it 10 men on both sides for most of the final half.

It made it a nice game after all!

I found out after the red card that the new rules say that if it's two footed it's a red, even if it's clean on the ball without touching the opponent... 5 years ago would have been a good tackle but these days it's a red according to the new rules...

Most of the game are scripted but i still don't knw how they do that. Red card, denied pk which would have made it a draw. This is a loss for me as a manutd fan. City were the better side tactically and would have wiped us if not for the card

so whats with the RED last game? its the only reason City scored more than 2 in Oldtrafford, otherwise it would have been 2-2/3-2

going by the book it was completely justified, by the spirit of the game, yes,I would agree, very controversial. Few days back Lampard got a yellow for a similar challenge and he didn't get the ball at all, it was all the player, but he got only a yellow nonetheless, even though a red would be right on the money and nobody could've had any objections.
It all depends on the ref.
