Neither team is going anywhere in the Champions League, but these two group bottom feeders are playing for a spot in the Europa League. Both need the win. BATE is a single ploint ahead of the Czech side for the EL spot, but a draw doesn't help them at all here as they face Barcelona on the final match day and aren't likely to get anything from Barca on the road. Viktoria Plzen places AC Milan at home. Both sides have conceded in every group match so far. The 1st meeting ended 1-1. I think with money to play for by getting more European futbol next year, both teams go all out today and I think that means two goals minimum.

Both teams need the win, so attacking play should be in order. Finishing obviously will be the key here. Porto's road tilts in the CL have seen them give up five goals in their two group stage matches which should bode well for the Ukrainians. Shakhtar has scored in three of the four group stage matches and both squads have conceded in each match.

It looks like they only ordered goals in two places today.


Plenty of options in this match so far, but no one can get one past the goalies. Still hold some hope in this one. Need to net that first goal to really open things up as the other team is forced to chase .... might just be one of those days though.
