For example, today Man City is playing at Villarreal.

If I liked Man City, why would I take them ML (-200) when I could take them Goals Line -0.5 (-165)

ML bet is a loser in a tie, so why pay -200 when I could pay -165.

Can someone explain this to me! Thanks

Asian Handicap and ML are usually the same, but sometimes it happens to be different. just take whatever has more value.

the AHC market is regulated on their own along with other spread lines. so in City's case it appears that many (british? ) people are pounding ML.

I've seen that too but not as dramatic. I think it is some kind of glitch. the mL and the handicap may not be linked together so they'll change the price based off action. For example if the mL has more action than the handicap the mL will change and the handicap might not although the aftermath of the mL favorite and -.5 are the same. is that why?
