Tough match. CSKA still without first choice keeper. Trab without their best striker. Trab may choose to play defensive again and try to grind out a draw. With CSKA's defensive issues, I'd find it tough to feel comfortable with them even at home in cold weather. Looking at Trab +1 myself.

This is a tough group. All teams in group have a shot to advance. I think it will come down to goal differential. That being said... i think we are gonna see a lots of attacking play from CSKA. If they score first i think they will try to run up the score to improve that GD. I think Trab will net one. i like the even money on the over

I agree with this. In a close group like this, the goal differential become big and teams will start pushing. CSKA has more offense and is home, but will be playing in 3-5 degree weather. I think they push and get some goals, but the Turks counter on the battered defense/keeping for one or two of their own. I see it being a decently high scorer, not 4-3, 5-2 or the like, but a 3-1 type game. The Turks may eek out a 2-2 draw, too, but I think the weather takes its toll on them. It's 16-22 degrees in Trabzon in the next couple of days. That ~15 degrees difference makes breathing awfully tough, and the grinding physical game as well.

CSKA still without first choice keeper
Gabulov is a great keeper, I like him even more than Igor Akinfeev. I wouldn't include this factor in my thought process.
CSKA has problems with defense though. Berezutski brothers and Sergey Ingnashevitch are too slow for champions league, so Trabzonspor probably will get their chance to score. But CSKA's offense is pretty good, especially if Vagner Love decides to play in his full strength. It's his last season in CSKA, so I think he should be pretty aggressive today (if he wants to join a good european club).
I wouldn't take Trabzonspor, but I do like over 2.5. Should be something like 2-1 or 3-1
Is 1-0 at half, curious as to whether you guys are feeling confident about the over still

need an early goal from trabzon. then over looks good, if cska leads 2-0 it'll be over for the over.
good luck with the over.

Tošić (CSKA Moskva) misses the target. The 24-year-old Serbian should have doubled the lead with the first attack of the second period! Vágner Love's powerful run frees Alan Dzagoev on the right and his low cross is fired over from the penalty spot. He should have scored!

Philth I do not know about soccer but did we just get lucky there with a 3rd goal being scored in the 86th minute lol, im sure the odds arent to good for that conisdering the team had been already winning 3-0 and I am sure their tired as well as cold as hell and I would have thought they would have let up.
Any suggestions for the later games coming up?

Don't think I was that lucky. Like I said earlier goal differential is gonna be crucial in this group. Cska were out for blood today.
