Wilt plays (La Liga & other)
Hi guys I'm going to start my own betting thread. I bet soccer (mainly spanish) and sometimes basketball and handball.
I'll be keeping a record and my stake system will be rated in units of 1/10.
I'll be betting in European bookies but I'm sure 5dimes and other american bookies will have the lines too.
Everybody's opinion is welcomed here, and feel free to write and discuss the plays. The aim at the end is to at least cover what I'm betting, this is not my job or something like that.
Finally excuse my english because sometimes my spelling is wrong, but I'll try to do my best with it.
To start the thread I'm going with 2 bets for tomorrow:
Match: Real Sociedad-Athletic Bilbao
Stake: 5/10
Pick: Over 5.5 cards @ 1,67 Bet365
Regional derby between San Sebastian's team and Bilbao's team. This week Bilbao played a great game against PSG and after that effort the have to be really tired. Bielsa, the coach, didn't modify last year team structure and they played a really worth watching match. They have 3 doubtful but very important player : Equiza, Muniain and Amorebieta.
On the other hand Real Sociedad who has been a regular team since the start of the season giving a great surpise drawing Barsa at home.
Xavi Prieto and the frenchman Griezman are playing so evrything is set for a great Sociedad game.
Another fact is that the game is played at 12:00 hours, and now the temperatures are extremely high in that part of Spain (something really strange because normally is always raining . It's expected a temperature above 30 degrees Celsius, with a great humidity level. In fact LLorente, the striker from Bilbao has declared that this schedule isn't good for them, they had just 50 hours to rest and the heat will be a great disadvantage.
So for me one clear bet which is the number of cards on this game. I think Bilbao's deffence isn't going to be as fresh as they'd like and they are going to see cards. Sociedad makes a lot of faults so I count on them to get ar least 2 cards or more.
Match: Sporting Gijon-Barcelona
Stake: 10/10
Pick: Barcelona-2 @ 2.05 WilliamHill
I'm really confused with the price at William Hill here. Maybe this is because Cesc Fábregas is injured but I doubt it's a reason strong enough because Iniesta is recovered. Barcelona is missing Cesc (3 weeks) and Puyol most likely won't be playing.
Barsa is in great shape lately and I think they're going to continue this trend in Gijón. Sporting is one of the poorest defences of La liga. Since Castro left to Getafe they have been trying to find a proper midfield game with no success so far. Preciado, the coach, is being questioned because they've only managed to get 2 points so far. Preciado will not set a pure defensive team because he likes to attack no matter which team it is. They're going to open spaces and Barcelona will take advantage of them with Xavi, Thiago and Iniesta 's game.
