ha crazy scenes in Crotone/Sassuolo game. There was 5 minutes injury time - the game should of probably been postponed due to flooded pitch, it was ridiculous. So gets to 4 minutes 48 seconds and Sassulo midfielder hits a hopefull long ball and it drops perfectly to the striker who just as he controls it and shoots the ref blows the whistle for full time! Of course he buried it and then all the players went crazy at the ref! Technically probably was 5 to 10 seconds left!

Anyway I had Crotone live-in-play. Unfortunately though I wasted most of my profits from the Lyon win on the VVV/AZ over 5.5,6 so only ended up with £40 profit for night when it should of been £140

At least Dortmund and AZ won to keep parlays alive though

Mainly same reasons as why I played PSV -1 away at Heracles last weekend...Heracles have lost their two best players in Overtoom and Armenteros and doesn't look like they are going to have replacements any time soon. Also, striker Everton is talking about wanting to leave the club and is unsettled so things aren't too good at Heracles currently. Roda have only conceded 5 goals at home (joint best in the league with Twente) and only lost 2 games. They are unbeaten in their last 5 games in Eredivisie, and showed great heart and determination by coming from behind with 10 men to get a draw away at Ado Den Haag at the weekend, in a game where the hosts got a dodgy penalty and Malki was sent-off for no reason. They have made a solid signing in Ajax youngster Roly Bonevacia who has boosted the midfield, and looks like they'll be getting expierenced striker Frank Demouge on loan from Bournemouth before the game this weekend to increase the attacking options. Top-scorer Malki was red-carded at weekend but it has been rescinded so he will be available. Will be very surprised if Roda lose this.

Newcastle PK @ +108 away at Aston Villa...

Potentially a play you look back on and think why oh why as Newcastle have been poor this season, especially away from home where they have failed to win a game. However, Aston Villa have been just as bad and possibly even worse and coming off the embarrassing League Cup exit to League 2 side Bradford now have to face Millwall away from home in the FA Cup which will undoubtedly be another very physical and tough game for them. They will then get just three days rest before playing a Newcastle side that slowly have key players returning from injury and have a number of new signings that will be keen to impress on their debuts. Newcastle already had 6 French players in their squad (Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Debuchy, Amalfitano, Marveux, and Obertan) and have now added another four in Centre-Back Yanga-MBiwa from Montpellier; left-wing back Haidara from Nancy, centre-midfielder Moussa Sissoko from Toulouse; and the aforementioned Yohann Gouffran from Bordeaux. All four were top players for their respective clubs in France and have the potential to come in and be big players for Newcastle straight away. Obviously they will need time to settle and adjust and no doubt a couple will probably flop, but you couldn't ask for a more potentially winnable game to introduce these players to than Aston Villa (except if it was at home!). I think Newcastle have got a great chance to get their first away win of the season next Tuesday, and could lead to Paul Lambert getting the sack depending on how Villa get on against Millwall tomorrow.
