#12256MLS plays:
Portland Timbers -0.75 A.H. @ -111 at home to Chicago Fire (to win 1 unit)...
MLS can be random, wouldnt be surprised if Fire get a point from this as Portland are still rusty and do tend to draw a lot of games at home, but I think there is some value. Fire may be without key striker Mike Magee as Frank Yallop has said he doesnt want to rush him back and may wait for Fire's first home game before starting him. Fellow striker Chris Rolfe and winger Billy Duka are also doubts. Fire in general have one of the weaker squads in the MLS this season in terms of star players and quality in depth - most sides have improved their rosters significantly during past few months but Chicago are one of the few who haven't. They have some solid young prospects like USA Under 19 International Benji Joya and Harrison Shipp, but they shouldnt be able to compete with Portland's quality.
Unlike Chicago, Portland made some big signings in off-season and improved an already solid side. Their only significant loss was Ryan Johnson, but they've added former River Plate and Monterrey attacking star Gaston Fernandez who scored the last minute equaliser against Philadelphia in opening game of season last wknd. Centre-back Norberto Paparatto and wingback Michael Harrington were other solid signings. They have a very strong central midfield with Will Johnson and Diego Chara (arguably best in MLS) which should be able to boss this game, supplemented by the quality of Nagbe, Valeri, Fernandez and Urruti in front of them. Chicago Fire conceded 3 second half goals against Chivas last week so I'd be shocked if Portland dont score at least 2 or 3 on Sunday. Expecting a 2-0, 3-1 type result.

Houston Dynamo -0.75 A.H. @ -106 at home to Montreal Impact (to win 1 unit)...
Houston off to a flying start thrashing New England Revs 4-0 at home - and this was all the more impressive as New England have been a bit of a bogey team in past for Houston at home - winning 5 out of 9 games in Houston. Montreal will still be without key player and top scorer from last season Marco Di Vaio due to suspension, and also Andres Romero is suspended so a lot of reliance on Andrew Wagner up front. Houston have won 3, drawn 1 lost 0 in 4 home games against Montreal, winning 3-0 last season in this fixture. 2-0 Houston me thinks!
Chivas/Vancouver Whitecaps Over 2.5 goals @ -104 (to win 1 unit);
Vancouver Whitecaps DNB @ -104 (to win 1.5 units)...
This should be an open game in theory, two sides that like to attack more than sit-back and defend - especially Vancouver with Carl Robinson in charge. They put 4 past Red Bulls in opening game last weekend, and new attacking signings Sebastian Fernandez and Pedro Morales looking very good at this level and combined should make up for the big off-season loss of top-scorer Camilo who left for Mexico. Also have experienced Kenny Miller up front who can finish, plenty of pace and directness with Jamaican International Mattocks and Gambian Kekuta Manneh, Uruguayan Mezquida, and further creativity with Russel Teibert. Not only are Whitecaps dangerous going forward, but they also signed one of the best defensive midfielders in Matthias Laba from Toronto who supports Nigel Reo-Coker in the pivot role in midfield. This was a massive coup as Toronto didnt want to sell Laba - he was one of the few bright sparks in an otherwise terrible season last year, and only reason he left was because they had too many "Designated Players" in squad after the big signings of Gilberto, Defoe, and Michael Bradley. Additionally, Whitecaps have also signed one of the best right-backs in the league in Beitashour from San Jose, a player that isnt bad going forward which along with Jordan Harvey at left back is encouraged by Carl Robinson who wants his full backs to bomb forward and join the attack. Their only weakness really is a lack of pace at the back, with former Premier League veterans O'Brien and Jay DeMerit who are in their mid-thirties.
Chivas were hopeless last season, but have been taken over by MLS and are rebuilding for the future. They've made a couple of shrewd signings in former River Plate and Ajax winger Mauro Rosales from Seattle Sounders, former Lanus defensive midfielder Pelletieri, however, they still lack depth and will be battling to avoid bottom sport in Western Conference again. In defence they have experience but like Vancouver a lack of youth and pace in Bocanegra (34), Lochhead (32) and Burling (29), and Fragoso (31), which I'm hoping will be exploited by Vancouver's flair, direct and pacey players Mattocks and Fernandez.
Overall, with each side being involved in 5 goal games in opening round, and last 4 meetings between these two yielding 3 or more goals, you'd expect a few goals in this one as well, although obviously doesnt always work-out like that! I'll go with 2-1 win to Vancouver though.
Seattle Sounders/Toronto FC Over 2 goals @ -176...
Could be a dumb play if Defoe doesnt start for Toronto due to the artificial turf, as Gilberto definitily isnt available. Last 3 between these two in Seattle has seen Seattle score 3 each time, and wouldnt be surprised if they do score 2 or 3 this time with Martins, Dempsey, Cooper, and Pappa in attack.

Dresden may have a few regulars out, waiting to see lineups. ...Schulz (17 apps, 1 goal) is suspended, Gueye (12 apps) and Menz (17 apps, 1 goal) both barely trained this week and are doubts, Aoudia (15 apps, 6 goals) is injured, Mravac (6 apps) is a doubt. ..

#12261yeah ,maybe that 4-0 loss to Karlsruhe is the reason to explain these odds.But i think that loss is nothing big , Paderborn would lose eventually at one point since they were unbeaten in 8 last games ( 6 wins and 2 draws) , where they managed to win away to Koln and K'lautern.Comment -

#12266Sonderjyske/Copenhagen Over 1 goal 1st half @ -108...
Whenever I bet on 1st half over in Copenhagen games they usually are 0-0 at HT and then Copenhagen go and score 2 or 3 in second half which could well happen in this one. On paper though it looks like home side have quite an attacking lineup with Bechmann, Absalonsen, Okotie, and Paulsen all starting. Copenhagen have Totouh, Vetoleke, and Gislason in attack with Claudemir creating behind. In theory should be goals

Dresden is simply trash on away matches , at home much better due to huge support from the fans...Why is Meha not playing ?
