Hopefully this is correct and I don't screw this one up like I did the last XI for Roma.
Anyways. Just my two cents on this game.
No Xabi - IMO, he's critical to RM defense...I know he plays midfield-but when he isn't on the pitch the team seems to struggle mightily defensively. He really holds the MF well for madrid...big drop off btw him and Illara in that aspect.
Jese and Bale starting= Firepower. When these two came on the pitch on Monday the team instantaneously became 10X more dangerous . They both bring pace to the pitch that other players at their position cannot offer. Jese in particular is getting the start, I believe it's his first start for RM-if it's not his first-it's one of his first few. He is making a name for himself and this is his opportunity to prove to Ancelotti that he belongs in the starting XI.
Weaker defense + stronger offense = over. It's a lot of goals though. The line is 4...I'm not as familiar w Osasuna and I don't know their starting XI for this match either.Comment -
