Just watched this on MOTD, cant believe I didnt get at least a push! Sunderland should of had a blatant penalty after Sandro pretty much punched the ball away right in front of the ref Lee Mason. Mason really should be reprimanded for tht terrible decision, there is no excuse.
And Defoe hit the bar twice and missed a one on one when he snatched at the shot and put it inches wide Really should of been 3-2 Spurs or 4-2

yeah they had that fire again which hasnt been as palpable recently, although fact they were playing a bigger team and rival may have something to do with it (compared to playing against Cagliari or Sassuolo!). Everytime they made a last ditch tackle like Castan in injury time or if de Sanctis made a save like from the freekick they celebrated and roared as if they'd scored a goal... it's refreshing to see! Benatia, de Rossi, and Castan were all excellent again. Aquilani missed a great chance tho after finet work by Cuadrado, if he'd of buried that would of been a different story...maybe didnt wanna score against his boyhood club!!
