#787Glad I held off on this one as I was gonna play it last night but resisted when I saw it at -183... Le Havre PK now at -149 on Pinnacle. Le Havre are tough to beat at home (unbeaten last season) and lost twice so far this season. Guingamp are one of the better teams in the league away from home but are without their top scorer Yatabare (17 apps 10 goals) who is at African Nations. Also added a double (parlay) of PSG -1.5 (-250) & Tottenham PK (DNB) (-275) pays out @ about -110; and PSG -2 A.H. @ -159...
PSG should really be beating Ajaccio by a three goal margin, two at worse. Ajaccio are without regulars and key players (due to African Nations and injuries) such as Diawara (15 apps, 1 goal), Medjani (19 apps, 1 goal), Faty (16 apps, 1 goal), Mostefa (17 apps, 1 goal), Diarra (16 apps, 1 goal), & Belghazouni (17 apps, 4 goals). PSG will only miss Tiene (no appearances yet), and Sissoko (3 apps). Nene, Armand, and Van Der Wiel are also out but they are not irreplaceable and only squad players.
Only slight concern is that the winter break may have broke some of PSG's momentum but on flip-side it has given players time to rest. Also complacency is obviously always a concern, especially with PSG as they have some prima-donnas in there who can be a bit too casual at times. And Ajaccio dont lose by large goal differences very often. They lost to Rennes 4-2 at home in their last home game, and were beaten 3-0 away at Montpellier in early December but other than those two the only other big loss was 3-0 away at Valenciennes. Nonetheless PSG should win this 2 or 3-0 I reckon, especially given the players Ajaccio will be missing due to injuries/African Nations. PSG beat Ajaccio 4-1 at home last season, and 3-1 away.
Adding Eskisehirspor -1 A.H. @ -156 at home to Mersin Idman Yurdu (Turkish Cup)...
Eskisehirspor beat Mersin 3-1 away from home earlier in season. Mersin's Coach is not taking this Cup seriously and is resting/without key players such as Stepanov (14 apps, 1 goal), Boum (11 apps), Baris (7 apps, 1 goal), Ben Yahia (16 apps, 2 goals), Culio (16 apps, 2 goals), & Mert Nobre (16 apps, 9 goals). Also new signings Bicik (GK), Mitrovic, Ozcal, and Yildiz aren't in the squad. Eskisehirspor on other hand have their usual regulars starting such as Boffin, Servet, Diego Angelo, Dede, Hurriyet Gucer, Tello, Erkan Zengin, Kamara, & Necati. Also new Serbian signing and prospect Causic will start. This could well be a sucka bet and Eski could well go and slip up as it's first game since the break but can't resist playing it.
Still a small profit for night of £67.55...

#791You're right, does seem too easy! I guess it's due to a combination of poor away form and Ronaldo not being available. And although they wooped Osasuna both home and away last season, historically Osasuna has been a bit of a tricky place for Real. But then this Osasuna isnt at the level of some of their teams in the past. Real should be winning this by a couple goals even without Ronaldo.Comment -

#793Adding Sporting Lisbon PK @ -204. Sporting have been shocking away from home (and in most games in general!) so far this season and are yet to win a game on opposition turf. I think tomorrow is the game to turn it around. Jesualdo Ferreira has returned as Coach and he got off to a good start with a morale boosting 1-0 win at home to Pacos Ferreira in the Cup game mid-week. They have also made for the first time in a while a shrewd transfer move by swapping Izmailov for Portuguese international wingback Miguel Lopes of Porto. Izmailov had become a nuisance for Sporting and they now have a solid right back in return who can do a more consistent job there than Cedric. I'm expecting Sporting to slowly improve and get themselves back in to the top 8 of the table over the next few months. Olhanense meanwhile are in even worse state than Sporting now after Sergio Conceicao resigned and they have lost a number of players to injuries and African Nations. This is highlighted by the fact that Olhanense only had 12 senior players in their squad for the cup game against bottom of the league Moreirense earlier in the week (a game where they were saved by keeper Ricardo's heroics). Key midfielders Babanco (11 apps), David Silva (9 apps, 1 goal), and striker Djaniny (8 apps) are in the Cape Verde squad. Other key players like Vasco Fernandes (10 apps), Luis Filipe (6 apps), Rui Duarte (13 apps, 2 goals), and Mauricio (6 apps) are injured/suspended. Things are so desperate that they've had tempt 36 year old former striker Djalmir (who is Director of Football now) out of retirement and he will be in the squad! It would be an absolute travesty if Sporting lose this game on Sunday, and would also be pretty bad if they only draw it. I'm going to take the conservative approach and play PK in case Sporting bottle it. They have drawn 4 games away from home after-all and are yet to win, and Olhanense have only lost twice at home and one of those losses was to leaders Benfica. If Sporting are dominating in opening 15 to 20mins I will look to add more to Sporting live-in-play, but for now just moderate on PK at -204 (I have bet ML @ +110 on Ladbrokes, and draw on Pinnacle @ +244 which created -204 odds for draw-no-bet).Comment -

#797Added Newport County PK @ -160 away at Lincoln. The home side are 6 games without a win and have a bit of an injury crisis, including their three top goal scorers being unavailable - Larkin (22 apps 7 goals), Taylor (24 apps 10 goals), & Oliver (21 apps 4 goals)...
Holdsworth injury list includes midfielder Mo Fofana and Gary Mills who have been out since the start of the new year. Added to that there is defenders Peter Gilbert and Scott Garner, while strikers Vadaine Oliver, Jamie Taylor and Colin Larkin have not been able to train this week.
"It is not a great situation to be in," said Holdsworth. "But we will work out our defence and make sure we are solid and we will have a plan for going forward.
"Newport are going to be tough. Justin Edinburgh is doing a good job there and he has brought together a strong team.
"Saturday will be a chance for us to see the ambition they have as a side which is pushing for promotion.
"It will not be easy, and we will go out there with the same mindset we've had all season, and that is to fight for every point."Comment -
