Reports that Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez certainly won't start, so in theory this should cause problems in defensive midfield for Bayern. Gonna have to either play Kroos in deeper role but he isnt strong defensively, or going to have to play Alaba or Lahm there and then either play Rafinha (at right back), COntento (at left back) or Van Buyten (at centre back with Rafinha right back) - all very average defensively at this level.

Yeah same as dnb. 2 means betting on Leverkusen straight I believe.

Its risky, Schalke always hard to beat Veltins. And theyve signed Boateng today, he might play which is another concern. Might be better to wait and see how its looking and bet live if Leverkusen are looking good

Don't like betting against Schalke when they at home, but I just have to considering how bad they are playing at the moment compared to how good Leverkusen are! Captain Howedes, and left-back Fuchs will both be suspended, so Schalke's already fragile defense should be even weaker, and I just don't see how they will be able to contain the red-hot trio of Son, Sam, and Kiessling. Schalke also have the game in Greece tomorrow against PAOK, and may have to play players like Matip, Hoger, Goretzka, Uchida, and Farfan who are all carrying knocks sustained from the last couple games. Kolasinac, Papadopolous, Obasi, and Huntelaar are already out currently due to injuries.


Groningen/Ajax Over 3 goals @ -139;

In theory this isn't a sharp play seeing as 5 out of last 6 between these two has had less than 3 goals per game. However, Ajax were so poor defensively in the 1st half of the game against Heerenveen and conceded 3 sloppy goals, and I wouldnt be surprised if they concede a couple this wknd. Groningen are decent going forward with plenty of options now compared to last season with Chery, Kirm, Kostic, Teixeira, Zivkovic, de Leeuw, and Zeefuik. But defensively they aren't great so could easily see them scoring 1 or maybe even 2 against Ajax, and conceding at least 2 as well.

Not as confident in both of these plays now. Schalke have made two solid signings in Aogo and Boateng during past couple of days. Also, Szalai hurt his wrist against PAOK but has been confirmed he is available to play.

Meanwhile Ajax have lost most creative and key player Christian Eriksen to Tottenham so Ajax might not score as many as I'd hoped. TOby Alderieweld is also out of the squad as he is about to leave so on plus side may make Ajax's defense weaker with van der Hoorn coming in to partner Moisander.
