Right, it is the end of the international break and Boro hit the road for their 6th game of the season.
We have 11 points from 5 games but have some issues, not least our striker situation, we don't have any but Emnes.

I feel this will hinder our productivity away to Burnley and we'll struggle massively to make any impact.

I see the 6/4 on burnley a great price and they are well worth a unit as a dnb @ 5/6

Oh dear, first loss and now 5-1 on the season. We clearly dominated that game too and our start to the season is fantastic, boro fans are loving life right now.

Onto this weekend, and we face a solid Palace side away. Worryingly we are favourites, never a good spot especially since we have won 5 straight away games and palace are strongest at home.
I like both the draw and under. Hard to choose which but the +0.25 on Palace looks value, because all good things come to an end, and for once, we didn't dominate in creating chances last week, just possession so i feel Palace are good for a point at least.

I knew we'd lose last night, the carling cup is something we must forget with the size of our squad.

I'm now 5-2, with the last two losses when i've bet against us, but tbh - we will start to drop back soon enough. This squad has quality, but very little off the bench and unless scotty M can start scoring, i do worry. Thank god we've kept clean sheets on the road 3 times already!

Basically, Ipswich may have turned their season around having beaten coventry and we're going to start losing games, and to be honest, i don't mind losing money if we then go and win - but i assure you, this is a banana skin. We always lose to Ipswich and last year's opening day was no different.

Reading vs Boro - Reading at 6/4

I have to go against boro this week after the offensive efforts we have displayed the past 2 weeks. We are still the only undefeated side in the league, but two 0-0 draws at home, albeit against tough opposition makes me think we'll struggle this week.
2 years back we won 2-0 at reading, but last year we were embarrassed 5-2 before going on our storming run last season. I feel this game could start another run for us, a bad one, as the goals have dried up and we rely ever more on a defence that i don't believe can last the whole season unscathed.
Reading have a lot of speed and technical ability, and won at bristol city midweek, so i think the price on them is fantastic this weekend and well worth a shot.
