WC 2014 qualification

Here are the european groups for WC 2014 qualification:

Group A: Croatia, Serbia, Belgium, Scotland, Macedonia, Wales (nice local derby too between Croatia and Serbia)
Group B: Italy, Denmark, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Armenia. Malta
Group C: Germany, Sweden, Ireland, Austria, Faroe Islands, Kazakhstan
Group D: Netherlands, Turkery, Romania, Estonia, Andorra (local derby between Romania and Hungary)
Group E: Norway, Slovenia, Switzerland, Albania, Cyprus, Iceland (poor group in my opinion)
Group F: Portugal, Rusia, Israel, N Ireland, Azerbaijan, Luxembourg
Group G: Greece, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, Latvia, Liechtenstein (poor group in my opinion)
Group H: England, Mountenegro, Ukraine, Poland, Moldova, San Marino
Group I: Spain, France, Belarus, Georgia, Finland

I marked with bold teams who I consider are favorites. Any thoughts?
I don't know with to choose in Group C between Sweden and Ireland. I think Austria also have a chance.
The same in Group E and G.
Group H is also interesting. Ukraine or Mountenegro?

I can't stand Portugal. I hope they get bounced. Usually overrated.

Does UKR have a next generation of youngsters? Or are they on the decline?

Here are my first thoughts:

Denmark has a good chance to win their group.
Turkey is no match for Netherlands.
Group E is really open.
I do not believe in Portugal, Russia has good chances.
G is also pretty open.
France has really recovered from WC last year and can compete with Spain.

I can't stand Portugal. I hope they get bounced. Usually overrated.

I know what you say. I don't stand them myself but in the last 10 years or so they really manage to get good results.

Tough group though... Serbia had highest win % in last World Cup qualifying and although their coach sucks, Croatia have a lot of good players.

I agree, Group E and G look weak on paper, but maybe there are some developing countries in there

How were Norway #1 seeds, and France #2?? When did Norway last qualify for anything

Kind of a longshot, I know, but I think B&H can beat Greece.

Looking at them, Germany and Netherlands are the only sure winners at this point

Very hard for them against Netherlands and Turkery. Too hard.
