Interesting games today with:
Newcastle United - Bolton
Close game this with 1 point between them. Both have a decent chance to push for europe.
Still I think both would hate to lose more than love to win. I feel I can't bet Newcastle here just because of home advantage. Lovenkrands may be out as well (test before kick off). Doesn't seem manager Pardew like to play Nile Ranger from start, that means 1 striker: Best with 5 goals in last 7 matches. Not a bad stat, but he cannot be trusted against Bolton who hasn't conceded in their last 3 matches. Newcastle been rather good in defence as well this year, except that special match vs Arsenal. Probably Sturridge and Elmander in front for Bolton.
Awaiting lineups, but leaning Bolton, maybe (+0.5)
Wolverhampton Wanderers - Blackpool
Wolves perform great against top teams this season. Still bottom placed, so they have not been good enough in matches like today. Let in a 90th min. goal last weekend against West Brom to draw. Anothor crucial match this, with Blackpool also fighting for PL football next season. Manager Holloway have them playing entertaining football, both scoring and conceding a lot. Without Adams today, playmaker and set piece taker. All the pressure on Wolves today, need the win more and are favorites. Blackpool been dogs all season and exceeded expectations.
Wolves is not an option for me at the price. Like what I saw of Beattie in front for Blackpool against Tottenham. Leaning Blackpool +0.5
Everton - Sunderland
Tim Cahill, Fellaini, Jack Rodwell, Louis Saha and Victor Anichebe doubtful for Everton. Important players.
Michael Turner, Fraizer Campbell, David Meyler, Danny Welbeck and Lee Cattermole out for Sunderland, with GK Craig Gordon doubtful. Let's see who starts the match.
Wigan Athletic - Manchester United
Awaiting lineups. Because of CL midweek and Chelsea tuesday, I would think Scholes and Giggs join midfield for Man Utd. Vidic rested, probably Evra too. Might rest both Rooney and Berbatov, at least one of them. Will have to see starting 11 before anything here.
