Couldn't believe the odds on Benfica! Haha, shocking from the bookies. 4 consecutive wins away from home, Sporting only having 5 points from last 5 home games. They probably thought the EL would be a factor, and it would have been if they played on the weekend. Playing on Monday was an extra day's rest.

I think it was still a flip for the ML to hit, it was an away game to a 3rd place team. If it was something like 1.50 or less there would be a ton of sharps laying that, and if Benfica lost it would've been a massive loss to bookmakers.

Then again though, in Portugal, the third placed team is akin to a third placed team in La Liga; not as much quality as the top two teams.
