    Soccer picks, 5/2
Heerenveen vs. Nijmegen over 3 goals @ 1.76, 3 units to win 2.28

Heerenveen vs. Nijmegen over 3.5 goals @ 2.20, 2 units to win 4.4

I expect Heerenveen to come out much stronger then last round when they lost to Groningen at home (1-4). Neither team has much to play for, maybe a small shot at european spots but otherwise its a typical midtable match. Its hard to pick a side here but I expect an open game with goals from both teams.

Historically many goals have been scored between these team, since 1994 they´ve met 18 times @ Heerenveen with a goalaverage of 3.67 per/game. Last 4 meetings @ Heerenveen has ended; 4-1, 3-1, 2-1 and 2-3. Last 4 overall has ended; 2-2, 4-1, 4-1 and 3-1.

The goalaverage at home for Heerenveen is 4 and 8 of 11 games has gone over 3.5 goals.
The goalaverage at away for Neijmegen is 4.2 and 7 of 10 games has gone over 3.5 goals.

    Injuries:
Heerenveen: Vandenbussche (GK, 0 games), Haglund (midfield, 5 games) and Janmaat (defender, 12 games, 1 goal)

Neijmegen: Ten Voorde (striker, 11 games, 1 goal)

I am not going to miss this opportunity, ive pounded these plays. Win or lose, its a good bet. Good luck

    Adding:

    Udinese -0.5, -1 @ 1.80
    , 2 units to win 1.6

Udinese are one of the hottest teams in Serie A right now, last round they suffered a small setback against Bologna where they only managed to draw. So I expect a rebound this round from a team that usually plays attractive soccer. Against Bologna they where without important striker Sanchez due to a suspention but he is back today.

Sampdoria are somewhat in a crisis having lost both Cassano and Pazzini during the mercato and now they cant get their game to work. Last six games they´ve lost 4 and got a whopping 2:10 in goals but those numbers are a bit deceiving because 7 of those 10 goals came against Napoli (4-0) and Palermo (3-0). Their defence is still strong but Udinese is a similar team to Palermo and Napoli with stronger offense then defence.
Sampdorias problem lies in the offensive, Maccarone, Biabiany and Macheda are not enough quality to replace Cassano/Pazzini.

I expect Udinese to win and possibly by multiple goals.

I am doing a two-team parlay....Bayern and Manchester City both win. Also like Stoke City at home against Sunderland.

            Adding:

            Peterborough/Southampton over 3 @ 1.84, 2 units to win 1.68

League One outfit Peterborough is an over machine at home, 14/14 games over 2.5 is impressive and 9 has flown over 3.5 goals. Last round the score was 2-3 at HT when they faced Sheffield Wednesday at home. Ive been riding these overs all season and will continue to auto play em until they start playing defence.

Southampton is one of the top clubs with aspiration of going up to the Championship for next season. They are strong both at home and away, but away from St Mary´s stadium they tend to play more overish. They are 50% on overs on the road, and if you look a little deeper 5 of those 12 games went over 3.5 goals. This means that only one of those 6 overs stopped at three goals.
I think a lot depends on Southampton if this game will go over because Peterborough will bring good offense and shaky defence. If Southampton have a more defensive approch it might stay at three goals but hopefully this game will fly over 3.5.

Bayern/City parlay looks solid, its not a sure thing that Robben starts so look for that. Its very good news for you that K.Jones starts for Stoke, and even better that him and Carew forms a two men attack. Stoke played pretty horrid offensively last round IMO, hopefully better today.

Looking to add Villareal -1.5 later on after I see how these first three games look after 45+ minutes.
