no way Chelsea loses this..keep in mind that Chelsea has a fresh boost with David Luiz and Torres and there trying to get back on track in the EPL and they still have to face United twice. Liverpool is not winning the league and isn't finishing top 4 but Chelsea with this win will edge closer to United and Arsenal. Every game is a must win for Chelsea cuz Tottenham is right behind them. This MIGHT be a close game but I can easily see it being 2-0 or 3-0 for Chelsea. that's my opinion at least.. GL with whatever you pick!

I initially thought the same as you, both that they are BACK and may DRAW on Sunday...
but then, I looked at their recent results and watched some highlights and I was not impressed at all. lets just face the truth, Liverpool are really bad... especially considering that they lost the first of the H2H 2-0, they will bombard Liverpool's goal like theres no tomorrow... taking the +1, you will really rely on luck and I don't think you will get it... Liverpool should sneak a goal in this game but it will most likely finish FT 3-1...
good luck though

Chelsea by a goal or two
I think Ancelotti will go back to his favored diamond formation with Drogba and Torres upfront.
Aslong as they avoid the counter attack (which has hurt them badly this year)... they should be good for a comfortable win.

I'm hoping both teams lose, but if I had to pick a winner I would go with Chelsea at the Bridge. I think with their additions, there might be a little more belief/optimism at this moment. If Ancelotti's smart, he'll play Anelka sitting just behind Drogba/Torres like he did against Sunderland.....had a blinder of a game in that position.

Is Torres allowed to play against Liverpool in this game? Is Andy Carroll and Suarez both starting? Seems like both teams should score with the talent available.

Yes, Torres can play...not sure if he starts though. Suarez is available, but Carroll is still injured and out a few more weeks with a thigh strain.

You'd think they'd sneak in a not allowed to play against the team in the contract when they sold Torres. Hell, i wouldn't want to play against him.

50 million pounds. In this market, absolutely. Though he tends to get injured a lot.

He's 15million better then Carroll
But Carroll's not worth 35 so...
EPL always has inflated prices

Andy Carroll is English. Add 10/15 mill onto English players. I don't know why though.

There is no value in chelsea. The odds reflect their chances. No bet for me in this one.

I mean Carroll is a good player. I've seen every minute he's played since he left Newcastle's youth team but he's not worth 35million
Deals like that will continue to inflate the market

Hard to say, i haven't seen him play in the EPL yet, bar his stint vs Stoke. He's pretty much expected to do what Torres had done. 25mill seems fair at the moment. He's still young too.

Rooney has a special skillset though
I doubt he'd have the same value in other countries but even the top players in the world (Messi, Ronaldo etc) recognise how talented he is (both have said so many times)
He doesn't score enough goals imo but not many players have his mix of speed/power/passing/vision

Right now. Before he scored those 2 goals vs Villa, i would have said 15-18 mill. Rooney hasn't been that great for some reason. And what is quite annoying is United have been able to still win. Berbatov seems to have picked up where Rooney hasn't. I swear this team gets so much luck.

agreed
but English players are still generally overrated and overvalued (not necessarily Rooney)...

If Rooney scores, Berba can't and vice versa... I don't like them playing together at one time at all...

And if neither score, Hernandez will, eh, tough life being a United hater.
