I think I'm gonna take the -1, Newcastle is missing a ton of players again... Victory beat Gold Coast 2-0 at home which is pretty impressive. If Newcastle pull off a draw or better it would be a big upset IMO.

The problem I find is that this looks a little too easy. Victory already have their place in the finals, all they are fighting for is a 4th place spot ahead of Gold Coast (am I right?, not too sure but that's what I understand from the rules). They will probably fight hard to get it but Newcastle has been thrown around like a rag doll. I might wait like 5 minutes into the game to see how Newcastle start off otherwise this should be a solid bet.

i have been tailing the Victory the last few weeks and it has been profitable.. i have a small wager as of last monday on the over..

And there's the travel angle for the Jets as well, having played in Wellington on Sunday night. In the A-League teams that have had long travel and a short turnaround have not tended to play well this season.
Which is understandable, for most teams traveling to Perth or Wellington is comparable to long mid-week journeys in UEFA competitions like an English team going to Greece. And even the best Champions League teams with their deep squads often struggle in the weekend games before and after long journeys for games in mid-week.
