Torres had to leave and they got the best price for him. Now they can go and get Carroll who has basically the same stats as Torres this season with the potential to player better. Pool are rebuilding, watch out for them next season.

yes, I think Liverpool can gain a lot from htese moves, but they need midfielders.

exactly... Gerrard is the only midfielder on that team that has a brain. Since Xabi and Mascherano left their midfield is crap.

Pool sucks this season, good move by Torres, but still have a one team without big transfers and still cup challenge ... arsenal !!!

Only thing that bothered me was he seemed to ask for the transfer after Saurez came in.

While that is certainly true you can also look at it the other way. If United were in 4th place with a thin squad they would spend big money as well. And Arsenal should have actually spent as they could do with a decent goalkeeper and center back.

And your last sentence is stupid. Obviously money has bought Chelsea already 3 league titles. Same goes for United (Rooney £25 million, Berbatov £30 million just to give two examples).

lol so true, the same thing will happen with arsenal as the last couple o years. Around this time they all say "we can still win all 4 trophies" then in the spaceof a month they are out of all of them lol. Still think arsenal will win the carling cup but they'll be out of the 3 main trophies because of your managers stubborness

Torres has behaved disgracefully by not giving 100% for liverpool while Hodgson was manager. It was obvious he wanted to leave.
