i dont think a liverpool win is a lock, but i do expect them to win here. i think at most fulham can do is score one goal against liverpool tonight. they will play cautiously at anfield and expect them to concede but not many - it all depends on the form of liverpool's front men.

gerard is back, but i think his impact is not as great as it used to be.

fulham are the aston villa of a few seasons ago and more often than not nab the draws. they also do have a good defensive record and leak very few goals, 73% of their matches this season have been under 2.5 goals. that is including their goals, of which they average 1 a game.

I gotta buck the trend and say the Fulham has a great chance, not to win but to draw.

Fulham's away defensive record is astounding, only Man United and Arsenal are better. Fulham have only conceded > 1 goal 3 times on the road this season. They have yet to concede > 2. So IMO if Liverpool win it will be by only one goal. Fulham do not win away from home so I would look at the draw here. Its listed at +299 should be higher with Liverpool -1 atm.

I watched Liverpool's game at the weekend and while they won 0-3 their defense is still not up to par. Wolves created many chances and a better side would of put some of those opportunities away. Fulham's defense should keep this game close.
