Daveyboy, as much as you may think otherwise, I actually enjoy reading your comments because it shows that you are having fun, which is good...

however, I am not one of those who take the 'best' and cheer for them... my cousin had been following MNU for the some time now and he introduced me to the EPL and overall, to European soccer... (living in Toronto, I would have never DISCOVERED that myself) not long ago, I decided to root for the team as well, but I am not a hardcore fan that would beat others down if their teams were not victorious... I simply like the coach and how he does not BUY his way to TITLES... in fact, if not for MNU, I would be a fan of Tottenham because they are very similar in nature (hence, why I am betting a ton for the game on Sunday) - if you believe that I am band wagoner, then you are wrong, but if my view does not portray me as a FAN, then I will not call myself that if you wish...

Really? Veron, Rooney, Ferdinand, Berbatov, Anderson, Carrick, Valencia off the top of my head. Bit busy atm, but I'll assure you there are plenty of more players to be added to that list.

Rooney? I never really liked him...
Ferdinand? Solid player, great buy...
Berbatov? Was always good, just lazy, so good buy...
Anderson? Whoever thinks that he is good must seriously reconsider!!!
Carrick? I never liked him, they could have a better player in his position...
Valencia? Best buy apart from Chicharito...

so what is your point? they spend money that they have but their main focus is on developing players... ironically, most players that they bought for a lot were not the essential reasons for them winning titles, but rather players that they raised... my opinion.

I hope we don't go down. Come summer, we will invest heavily in some cracking players, from what I've heard. And if Kenny is unable to do a good job, we might be getting in Deschamps or Villa-Boas. Or Ragnick. Or Coyle.

I expect us to get a lot better.

Portuguese André Villas-Boas would only leave FC Porto to go to Anfield Road if Liverpool stayed in the first 4/5 places having a shoot of playing the champions! And that's not gonna happen anytime soon
