lol its a young team and for the first half we played pretty well, however second half i feel we got nervous and sat back, i mean it was one of those games where winning in any possible way, was way more important than the performance its self, had we not picked up 3pts it was effectively curtains.

Burak yilmaz isn't suited to the lone striker role and as soon as semih came on we looked alot better going forward, i think Mevlut Erdinc of psg is the perfect fit, i haven't read or heard why he wasn't included in the squad. In general though we are lacking in pace as well, on the wings Arda and Hamit don't offer much in terms of speed, nor do we have players who can break out from midfield.

As for the midfield i think it has potential, Selcuk inan is a brilliant player who should be playing in europe next season and there is plenty of potential with nuri and ekici. However we lack a iniesta type who will run with the ball through the centre from the midfield , emre when fit does offer such an option but hes not getting any younger and is injury (and red card ) prone. Arda looked impressive and volkan continued his great club form with an impressive one handed penalty save.

All in all, an important win!

Yes I watched it, I thought we played well first half but the second half was frustrating

Hiddink is trying to get his Dutch style to settle, I think they have a chance with the new crop of players. Ekici was impressive, finally a player who can take a set piece, we have good passers with Selcuk, Sahin and Ekici however, they are all similar players. I felt we needed more speed on the wings and don't think Burak should have started.

Arda was impressive! Burak was given a chance but I think Semih, Cenk and Erdinc should be tried out aswell.

It looks more like a work in progress then the final article but there is potential there.

One key note is they must sort out the defense! they are incapable of keeping a back line, lose position easily, don't close down well, the defense is a worry.
