1.) Play Single if the odd is greater or equal to 2.00
2.) If the odd is low, then make combo to get the odd to at least 2.00
3.) Never include the same team in the different ticket. The easier the game looks, the riskier it is.
Nothing is so called sure shot.

This is a good start in being successful in the long run. A few notes to take into consideration:

- Always look at value before odds. Low odds can have tremendous value sometimes, while high odds can be that high for a reason.
- It's not necessarily a bad thing to lay a bit of juice, odds around 1.80 are still good enough for single bets
- If odds are too low to play single, look at the handicap option first before throwing them into a parlay
