    Wellington v Newcastle
    I'm on Wellington ML. GL

Wellington Phoenix v Newcastle Jets, Saturday, 5pm, Westpac Stadium
Wellington’s destiny this season is dependant on them taking maximum points from their remaining home matches, such is their inability to garner much on the road. The Jets' season has sparked to life on the back of a fantastic undefeated month, which included five wins. They will find a stern test this week with the absence of arguably their two most influential players, Ljubo Milicevic and Kasey Wehrman, who are both suspended. The loss of those two, the travel after a midweek game, and some Phoenix desperation, leads me to backing the home side in this one.

I would take Newcastle, they are the most in form team in Australia. They haven't loss in 7 strait matches and have only allowed 3 goals in those 7 matches. Even though they miss two good players, they have alot of depth. i would not be surprised to see a draw in this one.

Kind of a one sided review though, the Phoenix are also missing their captain and goalie for this.

I would lean toward a draw

Interesting clash. Wellington has a crap ton of goals attributed to their home matches. Newcastle are stingy, stingy on the road. 1-0 in the first time they met .... Say Under 2.5/2?

under 2.5 is like 1.8, it's probably the right play though.

This is a hard one to call.
Newcastle played very well in their last match, but the short turn around and trip to NZ might be a bit too taxing, thus I don't think they'll put up the same offensive performance and It will be up to Wellington to penetrate their defense, to which Wellington has proven capable (at home).
But then... 3.50 for Newcastle is also good value imo.
I have no clue about the over/under, these two teams are polar opposites in terms of goals; with 3.5 per Wellington home match and 1.5 per Newcastle away match.

Probably not going to touch this one,

Plus I'm still ****** on the rag over **** for brains ******* adelaide dumb **** chokers, almost threw my ******* laptop out the ******* window.

But I do like the over in Melbourne and Brisbane ML.

            Good luck all round.

Phoenix are not really missing their Keeper, in fact they are boosted in the keeper postion with the inclusion of Vukovic .

Jets will be jet (lOL) lagged and tired from their last game, and missing their most influential player Wherman is massive... + NZ home is a fortress and they know they have to win at home since they have been so bad away..

I'll be playing both teams to score @ 1.95 in this match up.

I think Wellington can definately score at home against the Jets as they have scored in 9 of their last 10 home games and the Jets should be able to keep it close with their form lately.

Wellington has also received goals in 8 of their last 10 home games.

I'm off the Victory game, dam will be late, anyhow like the Kruse bet. Roar should dispose Fury 2-0... unless the fury coach somehow inspires them, he's been very vocal on the sidelines.
