FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid Monday 29th 21:00 GMT+1
"The Classic" has arrived guys! One of the most spectacular and mediatic matches of the year, the match of the century as some people name it (although they say the same twice a season, every season...) is on the way. Monday 29th of November 21:00 GMT+1 was the chosen day, not without controversy of course. This is the game which paralyses Spain, the game which has the most tv share of the year. The game about which sports programmes talk about two weeks before and after, the match which separates Spain in two, the R.Madrid supporters and the FCBarcelona supporters.
The history of The Classic has left images for the posterity such as the Barça 5 - Madrid 0, or the humiliating 2-6 which barça won Madrid, and other results I, as a young Barça supporter, don't want to or can't remember.

What do you guys think of this match? Will Barça win as local team, or will Madrid surprise sportbooks and win the 3 points at Camp Nou?
Both teams arrive to the Classic at their best moments after winning 0-8 and 5-1 their last La Liga games, and 0-4 and 0-3 the last Champions league matches.

In the background of the match lies the personal duel between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, the 2 best players of the world.

    Sportsbooks give this odds:

    Discussion IS ON!!!

    GO BARÇA GO!

Books are way off, Real Madrid should be favorites. There was no way Barcelona was losing any of the games last season, but this season, it's the other way around. Real Madrid PK easy win, at the very worst, money back.

          Real Madrid Ml 3.62
          Real Madrid pk 2.68
          Real Madrid +0.5 1.84
Give me Madrid +0.5 at that price I'll take it!

I may even take the Pk or ML!

I can't see Madrid losing this year! Worst case IMO will be a draw!

I prefer real madrid to barcelona but honestly you can never find any team in the world on the same level as this barcelona. At nou I will always back barcelona @ 2.00 no matter which team they play.I am sure they will dominate and create many goal scoring chances but not sure of the result

Barça usually creates lots of scoring opportunities against normal teams but most of them don't become goals. Against good teams like Sevilla, which result was 5-0 at Camp Nou, they almost scored every chance they had... So hopefully they will be able to score a goal the first minutes and to control the match from that moment.

And I think Mou knows well how to play Barca. He already faced them.

And Barca still will have to know the new Madrid, this is not Pellegrini's Madrid will all the mess around this is a team with order and organization!

Barca will dominate possession, but Madrid has very dangerous goal threat than last year. Remember Inter vs Barca last year? Think of Mourinho tactic's the same way.

This game could end up 0-0 unless 1 team makes too many mistakes.

I sure hope this is not another Barca-Inter from last spring, but I'm afraid Mourinho will repeat what has worked before against the Catalans. He did it with Chelsea on the Nou Camp, when Ronaldinho was at a high, he did it again with Inter and now will return to Barcelona to kill this match. I think Barcelona will dominate possession, the corner count, will have the more shots on and off the target, but Real will certainly score and knowing Mourinho, this could be sufficient.

Mourinho has never won a match at nou camp. With his chelsea team, he got 2 draws( late goals) , with inter , he lost both matches. Those matches are champions league where coaches travel away and try to not to concede many goals. As a fan it is understandable. This is el classico and madrid fans would want their team to attack and win. IMO this match will be open, many goals will be scored , but most of the goals will be scored by barcelona.

Barca lost to Hercules 2-0 at home this season. Maybe motivation wasn't there, but they played their asses off to score in the last minutes and they couldn't. Madrid are undefeated in the league with a better defense.

I'd personally rather take Madrid +0.5 1.84 than Barca ML 2.10.

It doesn't mean he can't win this one! If someone can win to Barca is Real and is one of the clubs has done it! Even in CL they did it and eliminated Barca!

This is a total different game. With Inter he just wanted to keep the score. Real - Barca is a totally different game.

Don't see RM losing this one here. Jose knows how to play against this barca team. I would back a draw, but hedge it with RM win.

Messi, Iniesta, Xavi, Guardiola vs. Ronaldo, Ozil, Higuain, De Maria, Mourinho

Barcelona have arguably the better attack and midfield. Real Madrid has the better defence.

Imo, Madrid have a better manager in Mourinho.

Not betting anything. Gun to head, I would take the Over.

Just going to sit back and watch one of the best matches of the season.

This game could go either way. Should be an absolute great match. I kinda like Barca but if we're talking about value Real at +255 is certainly that.

                                                  You shouldn't do that bro.

I got 1 unit on +0.5 that should be it. This is the Classico, there isn't a game on earth Barca plays harder to win at home. Mourinho has tried all month to take pressure off his team, saying this will be treated as another league match. If he loses he won't be too pissed, he'll just prepare better for when Barca come to their house.

Barcelona have arguably the better attack and midfield. Real Madrid has the better defence.

Imo, Madrid have a better manager in Mourinho.

Not betting anything. Gun to head, I would take the Over.

Just going to sit back and watch one of the best matches of the season.

Good call...Sit down and watch the game is probably the best thing to do.

This game should end at least with 3 goals...

Barca has the control, Real has the counter attack.
We all know how well articulated is Xabi, Iniesta and Messi...I think the key of this game will be how well Ozil, Di Maria and Xabi Alonso can follow Mou's strategy, If they can and follow it to the dime, they should be able to connect with Iguain and Ronaldo, this will be bad news to Barca; If they do not follow the strategy, Barca will have a less than a tough game to play and a win could come sooner rather than later for them.

Another 2 Key players that in my point of view can make a huge diffence is :

                                                        Pedro from Barca
                                                        Marcelo from Madrid

Both defenses will be worry about the "big names" from each team (messi, Ronaldo..Etc), If any of this 2 has a great night they can make a huge difference in the Game. Pedro is a extremely well developed player, is a true striker when Villa can't do it or when Messi has 3 people around him.
Marcelo has a fantastic vision of the game from the side and a formidable shooting skill.

                                                        Prediction:

                                                        Over 2.5
                                                        Barca will win 2-1

In my heart I am a true Madrid Fan but I don't think that Madrid is ready to face Barca yet....I really hope I am wrong...so I will follow a good all saying, If you cannot bet on your team do not bet all.

Enjoy the game and I really hope both teams will let us watch an EPIC Match!!!
