Ajax 0 - Madrid 4. But everybody talking about this?
This kind of things happens in other games with other teams. Would be better to get a red card kicking someone?
Mourinho did what he think was needed and nothing else!

Alonso and Ramos had already 2 yellow cards! If they got 3 so they'll be out for a game! Mourinho did that in tha Ajax game so the game Ramos and Alonso will miss will be the next against Auxerre ( a game that is not important for Real cause we're in first place and qualified to next round), he didn't want to risk going into next round with players with 2 cards that can be missing important games! Specially Alonso that don't have a real substitute!
Other teams did it also sometimes.
Remember Dani Alves of Barca doing same sh*t with orders of Guardiola. Just Dani Alves kick someone to get the red card and Madrid players just were losing time!

This reminds me of an interview I saw years ago on Dutch TV with Peter van Vossen and Theo Lucius.
Both were asked what they would to if a player from the opposite team broke through: Drag him down holding his shirt or kick him down?
Van Vossen politely responded he would hold his shirt. Lucius however, with a huge grin on his face, responded: "I'd rather kick him"
(For you Dutchies out there, his literal response was: "Ik schup liever" )
