Tough to back either side right now. Stoke have dropped their last 4 (5 if you include the Carling Cup). They've played well but have been unlucky with some dodgy refereeing decisions and Clattenburg is the ref for this one which doesn't bode well. Stoke will also be without Shawcross which will force them to shuffle their back 4. Brum have been pretty dreadful away from St. Andrews...haven't won away from home in their last 10 matches (0-3-7) and were fortunate to draw with bottom-feeders West Ham in their last match. I would lean Stoke based on home edge, the desperation to get out of the drop, and based on Brum's last performance, but I think I would prefer backing the Under in this one. Stoke have failed to score against Brum in their last 7 meetings and Brum's defensive tactics play to low scoring matches. Last season: BIR 0 STO 0; STO 0 BIR 1.
good luck

Personally, I see two possible outcome from this game. Stoke win by 1-0 or a draw. I think the under is a really safe bet and everyone is one it for this game.

In a perfect world we should see no more than 1-2 goals or even a goalless draw.
