Tough task ahead for United. If we lose this one (which wouldn't shock me) then it will be extremely difficult to get out of this group. Pressure is on Fergie and the team to get a result here....serves Fergie right for starting a squad side against the Rangers at Old Trafford. We'll be lacking some experience/creativity in the middle without Giggs and Scholes and we'll be relying on Berbatov up front on his own as I would expect Fergie to play a defensive 4-5-1. One 'positive' is that we'll likely have Rio paired again with Vidic so that should provide some stability in our back 4.

I realise Valencia is atop LaLiga at the moment and playing well, but aside from maybe Atletico, they haven't really faced any stiff competition (Malaga, Santander, Gijon and Hercules..teams which finished bottom of the table or newly promoted). Regardless, it will be a difficult match and I would expect a tight, low scoring match.
